So get this man. I bought my first street bike on the 4th of July. Iv had dirt bikes my whole life and have rode ALOT. I go to the store literally 1/4 mile from my house to the dollar general. Omw back I get rear-ended by a car this past Tuesday. I'm fine thank God and by the grace of God, but I have a feeling that my bike is totaled. Haven't even paid the first payment on it yet. You talking about heart breaking man. I did everything right . I had just came to a complete stop to wait for two cars to pass so I could turn in and then bam. Becareful out there guys these car riders are blind and ignorant to use.

The thing with litre bikes, even though they are completely impractical, is the way they make you feel when you are aboard. You have top level equipment, with everything being the best of the best. They are just a special place to be. Also knowing that you can blow just about any other vehicle that ever existed into the weeds if the whim takes you is kinda nice too.

Great review guys! mine is the same I race em and do occasionally use on the street. My input is below. There are somethings that you ant do yourself on the RRR within the electronics for that reason you cant make the RR a RRR. What I like about the RR is you can make it faster then the RRR for the track as its completely customizable. Only must do on the RRR is get rid of that cheap exhaust and install a ARATA and change pegs and controls for Rizoma. Brake lines would change for braded. RRR is hard work on the track as you have to scream it to get the power out of it which can be challenging existing the Apex. You need t be near pro level to get the RRR to go around the track faster then the RR because of the gearing. You have to keep the revs busting to brake out of the apex and for that reason I would recommend to RR for track and road for most, RRR well if you wanna get professional then its the way to go as you will need very few mods.

Ah. I thought it would be comparison of modern blades 1000RR vs. the real ones: 893, 919, 929 and the most sophisticated blade to date - the 954RR
And no, I'm not looking to get maximum power, flashy looks and all those nonsense. After the real blade has been discontinued 20 years ago, I see only the 750cc Gixxer as a sort of continuation of the Blade philosophy. And that is the lightness and nimbleness of the 600 with the power of a liter.

I just hope that manufacturers realise from the SP that people actually do like the slightly flashier colour scheme. There were some absolutely amazing designs from around the 90's like the original Fireblade.
I would love to have more than two colour options on a modern bike. It's always just the main brand colour or black and always just a flat colour and it's so boring.
Seems like the gixxers are the only ones to have at least a little bit of actual design with their paintjobs.

No I'm not into flashy looks or horsepower, I'm actually more into muted looks and don't care about horsepower anymore. After being in the car scene where cars are coming out with 800-2000 horsepower every year now hp just kind of seems like a pissing contest and it's more annoying than ever to talk about that with people who are "into cars" I'm interested in the 1krr because my fiance has always loved both Honda and sport bikes but has always been too scared to really try them out. I wanna get this to maybe push her into trying out bikes (no she's not going to start on this bike I'll probably get her a navi for her baby steps) I'm a beginner myself but I'm looking to work my way up to this and cars (although way different and "safer" than bikes) have taught me some throttle control. And I got over my "race everybody 24/7" stage in life.
