iOS 18 is a step in the right direction for Apple. It is about time that they added home screen customization, call recording, and AI fratures. As someone who uses iOS and Android, I will stick with Android as my daily driver since there are features that iOS is still missing. These features are:
1. Multitasking
2. Sideloading
3. Notification customization
4. Clipboard
5. Number row on keyboard
6. Universal back gesture
Number 1-4-5-6 are so needed in my opinion. Ios 18 as you said is heading to the right direction but many important features are still missing for me to make a complete switch.iphone File manager and gallery(photo) app need serious improvement.

Just got my first Samsung phone (S24) and am blown away at how great it is. I spent 12 years with iphone and 1.5 years with (Google pixel 7) and this S24 is a definitely better experience.

I bought the Ultra 24 when the price decreased. 512 gig for just over $1000. Worth it.
Theres an app for dynamic island which i do like but it does stay as a notch. Notifications go back to the small camera cutout.
Apple needs to get it together. Theyre too much in love with the notch. What is a dynamic island but an unattached notch. I like watching content without the stupid notch.
I did waiver between ultra and iphone when shopping. The camera on the iphone looks beautiful. It looks so natural. The Ultra camera, though is color accurate

The reason why the screen on the iphone generally looks more vivid, warm, and pleasing to look at, is mostly because of its true tone, it helps make the screen look natural with the help of the lighting temperature

iPhone is a bit better. Speakers sound like they have slightly more depth.

Yeah. I've got all three of those and prefer my 24+. Only because of it's size and weight. Im running the 18.2 beta on my 15pm and it makes it nice to look at, but yes, they need to expand on the grid. Tighten it up, shrink the app icons. Apple's eco-system is tight too. I like it more than Sammy's. I've got both. To me, the watch ultra 2 is the best. Waiting to see how Samsung does with their ultra watch. Great vid Nick!

Faster charging, multitasking, splitscreen, s pen, reverse wireless, better battery life, customizations, sideload, dex mode, clipboard, universal swipe back gesture, close all tasks at once button, ability to download and install 3rd party apps, and so on and so on, is it enough or should i continue?

Do you think iPhone 16 tele lens can do 2X macro like Xperia 1 VI and some other Android phones? I use Mac and do prefer iOS but prefer Sony Xperia 1 VI more natural camera and it's 2X macro tele lens, do you think it will be ok for me to get the Xperia or get iPhone 16? Hello, has someone experienced some small struggle or lagging when scrolling with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra? for example when scrolling on Instagram, when scrolling through TH-cam or Instagram comments, or in the main One UI menu when switching from the home apps to the app drawer, it's weird, doesn't happen all the time, kinda rarely, please if you have the same issue and found a permanent fix for it, please tell me, thanks 😊

I used S24U for nearly 6 months and what I can say? It's amazing... But both of these phone are as good as every user's needs.

What’s your usage like?? Or how do you use your phone? Do you use it when it’s charging? Do you let it get hot or overheat? Do you have your settings optimized for your usage preferences?
@@Ultrrraaa I run betas on my phone and drain it down almost every day. It only lasts about 6-7 hours on 18 beta for me and it gets pretty hot. I charge to 100 percent but have optimized charging on. I can’t charge it to below 100 or else I’ll have to charge it before the end of the day
I guess because I like the challenge of keeping it at 100% for the year, but I got sloppy with my charging!
@@RyansTechReviews29 really? Cause I’m a heavy user with a 15 pro on iOS 18 beta 2 I have my charging limit set to 90 and I don’t let my phone go below 20-25 percent. I have always on display set to off, dark mode on, I have background refresh turned to off on apps that I don’t often use, I use dark mode, adaptive screen brightness, and screen timeout set to either 1-3 minutes. I also keep my phone cool, and while it’s charging I keep it in a cool area and I don’t use while charging.
I’ve had my 15 pro since launch and it’s still at 100% battery health

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and it probably isn’t going to make it (as in the phone will die) until September/October. Been thinking about making the leap to the S24 Ultra. Kind of concerned about ecosystem costs though. Not sure what to do. Feels like a mistake to buy a 15 PM this late in the device cycle.

If you’re used to IOS you’ll NEVER be happy with the S24U. Trust me the iPhone 15PM will be a BOSS for many many years to come.
Honestly, try out the S24 in a phone store or something before you make a decision... or ask a friend if you can mess around with theirs for a bit. I tried Samsung and didn't like it (just felt 'off' somehow). It all comes down to personal preference, so pick whichever you are most comfortable with.
Also, if you're gonna get a 15, you might want to wait until the 16 comes out so you can get it for cheaper.

90% of the videos i watch do net interfer with the notch.
I came from an Oneplus 7 Pro (no notch) to the 15PM and i really though i would hate the dynamic island but honestly it does not bother me at all, i even like it as a feature now

@@soumyamal72 I did make a mistake by buying an Pixel 8 Pro first (had it for 2 months between 15PM and 7P) and i tried to like it just like you said but i did not. Laggy scrolling, bugs and poor battery life killed the experience for me so i made the decision to switch again.
Honestly im really happy with the 15PM, just the keyboard (no number row) bothers me still.
Hope i can rock it for 4 years just as the 7P

Why my 14 pro don’t have news app ?
They're both great, so again it just comes down to preference. I tried Samsung at the phone store and it just feels a little "off". The iphone just feels so much more natural to me... maybe I'm just used to it after years on an iphone. But I recognize that it's a "me" thing, not a problem with Samsung phones. I'm sure someone who is accustomed to Samsung might feel the same way trying an iphone. It will probably feel strange and take time to get used to.
Also depends how you use the phone. Samsung is definitely more customizable, and has features like split screen and Dex. I could see myself using those very rarely. On the other hand, there are some iphone exclusive features like Live Activities and Standby that I use all the time. And I know people joke about Apple's infamous "walled garden", but actually the ecosystem is damn good. It's not that you "can't" leave... most people just don't want to.
Anyway, both are great phones. Really hard to say which is "better" because it's so subjective.

Samsung display is the best in the market.I own both,the colors are punchy and vibrant,it’s a lot better than the one on iphone,on top of that it’s gorilla glass which is scratch resistant and it feels much better than the iphone’s that has a plastic feel.

Iphone-ers complaining about the animations, Samsung allows to customize animations in Settings. Does iphone allow you to customize animations to make it quick like Samsung?

But yeah, there are options under Accessibility settings to reduce animation if you want to.

After many years i switched to s24 ultra and i am very disappointed, screen have a very bad banding problems on gradients, my iphone 12 was without these problems, also lightroom app is as fast as on my old iphone 12...
