I had a similar boat. I used some heavy gage copper wire (from some old booster cables) to move the battery forward, so the boat trimmed better and went much further on a charge. Happy fishing!
Love it. I also like the anchor holder,keeps it out of the boat but secure and also makes it easier to pull the anchor in.Never seen that type of holder before.

I know you posted this long time ago but what paint did you use and were did you buy it it looks clean
How did the paint end up holding up? Just curious if ill have to sand alllllll the old paint off
it’s still holding strong over a year later
? Do you need to register and get insurance if you only have the 12v motor
if the boat is 12ft or longer it has to be registered no matter the size of motor you run on it
