We have had Bayliner on the half of the family since I've been alive.
Even though the first ones were not running anymore due to no mechanical experience the latest Bayliner with a 4.3l remains in near mint condition for a mid 90's boat.
I've had a blast tubing with it and seeing the beauty of those spo r t boat on the water to today's standards. Especially the used market what a jem

This guy takes a boat that's been left to rot and gets the engine to turnover and then fire up. Meanwhile I can't get my 2 stroke weed whacker to start lol.

The “Escort” trailers supplied with Bayliners are actually decent units. They were hot dip galvanized along with all of the hardware and resist corrosion very well.

If there's a market: it fluctuates, but separated cardboard, glass, plastic and metals can make the city money.

Great job. Last Bayliner I delt with , was an outboard the electric starter fell off and owner to cheap to buy screws so we rope started it ,ran great. Oh great little helper, you must be ok if a wild animal trust you.

That's like my favorite thing to do . Florida is a gold mine for a fiberglass repairman. People ride a big jet ski and flip out after they realize they don't have breaks or reverse . Fast quality work and I do it all !!!

This looks like about a 1987 Bayliner Capri 1900 with a 3L 4-cyl. It's an absolute wreck of course, and would not be restorable, due mainly to lack of parts. I restored my 1986 Capri to rear-original factory interior and upgraded to Chevy 350. It will do about 52 mph.
I truly believe that even Jesus would have passed up on resurrecting this boat. You're an amazing man.

That Bayliner looks like around 1988 when I was a young guy I worked for a boat dealership getting these boats ready for sale and taking customers out on them on sea trials. These boats were shit brand new coming off the truck things would be broke on them before we even touch them. The only thing good on these birds is when they switch from OMC to MerCruiser and that was a good thing but the rest of the boat sucked falling apart as you looked at it……

Chris, I always wanted to ask, what do you do with all your watered down oil/ watered down gas. My local dump won’t take oil of it has water in it, or gas in general.

Trash Liner deserves a total handy man fiberglass patch job and scrap pallet wood lumber deck refurbish to make her RIVER READY and Trash haulin more comfortable.

The way I look at this is if the shell is decent then the rest can be fixed or replaced .
Your video reminded me of doing a very similar thing to my third boat a little Winner (brand) cuddy cabin. I had passed the boat many times in the parking lot of a marina in which I kept my Catalina 22 sailboat. It was the most derelict looking poor old boat imaginable with a sapling growing through its deck and a hole in the bow. I just liked its lines so I questioned the marina manager and was given the owner’s name. And for $100 I bought the title to the boat so I could register it if I repaired it. I spent a winter and spring going to the marina after work and on weekends and finally got a sweet boat and I rebuilt the trailer and towed it from Maryland to Florida where I moved after law school way back in 1980. However, I rebuilt my boat to look new and you gutted yours. Not exactly my style but who cares?

Thanks for checking it out! Yeah I just dropped off three videos in DaVinci resolve and cut them up. Didn't take too much time. Much easier than putting one together from all the original footage. And that was just coincidence. Had me cracking up when I was editing it and saw her look up too

Tyres have manufacture dates embossed on sidewall, google the code, year plus weeks to get date of manufacture, it’s illegal to drive with old tyres, depending local regulations, no problem back street but distance and high-way use may pose an insurance problem if they cause a failure drama. Fun hey
