Yeah I’m pretty sure this happened like a year after Le Mans. And even though there’s some stuff that doesn’t really add up with the story, the movies still pretty good imo

also i heard somewhere the front diffuser was damaged causing downforce to go under the vehicle instead of over it like it usually does also adding to every other variable that helped the car launch itself.
@@HeroLiveGaming we can just tell by the helmet colors though. that would be a good reason to not have them down if we couldn't see through the visors good or at all. For example, the visors that F1 drivers have on their helmets.
In closed cockpit cars they don't tend to have them down, it allows for better airflow and keeping cooler, they tend to only put them down to prevent sun glare in the eyes, but for open cockpit they need them because of all the crap in the air that is hitting their faces Some drivers don't even put visors in the helmets at all

He didn't lift when he should've, extra speed coming over the crest had put more Air under the car and he took off.
