Unreal. 7:23.63 (3rd on the all time ranking), with a blazing finish of 54.0 (L400m), 25.8 (L200m) and 12.8 (L100m). Final kilometre: 2:24.51. And this was done less than 24 hours after Jakob ran the 3rd fastest mile of all time (3:43.73)
he has no perfect genes. quiete the opposite he is chubby genetically look at his parents. it is hard and smart workk and dedication and mindset @@JA-su2us
Kejelcha tried to pull off a Wightman/Kerr on Ingebrigtsen but this time Jakob learned his lesson & kept his lead using the inside. Makes it even more believable that he was battling illness in Budapest because you would think he learned this lesson last year.
Daniel Komen 7:20.67, final 400m: 59.09 Hicham El Guerrouj 7:23.09, final 400m: 59.67 Noureddine Morceli 7:25.11, final 400m: 54.2 Kenenisa Bekele 7:25.79, final 400m: 56.03 Jakob Ingebrigtsen 7:23.63, final 400m: 54.0 (!)
So often you would see in the home straight the guy in front would start moving towards lane 2 so that the other guy cannot pass. As far as I see, Jakob didn't move an inch.
Jacob as usual led for most of the race and could have run a second or two faster with some decent pacing or one of the other runners having some " cahuenas " and trying to lead race . They all follow Jacob to get personal bests and NR . Nobody is a good as Jacob
The commentator said it was bizarre that Grijalva was wearing a t-shirt. No, it would've been bizarre if he'd worn a top hat and tuxedo. Wearing what is probably a very lightweight t-shirt, specially made for running, is hardly bizarre.

Jakob could have smashed the world record this weekend in both a mile and 3K with better pacers! Insane!!
I'm starting to question how he does it, so so good
Extreme talent, superior genes and perfect training for 10-15 years, since he was about 8 or so !!@@AthleticsHQ

pacers in the mile were perfect so that's just not true
Jacob is fantastic, Kejelcha too !!!!
El mejor 3k de la historia por la calidad de atletas y por los fabulosos tiempos por debajo de los 7:30 y a 3 segundos del record mundial

If Kejelcha raced like that in Paris, Jakob would be in trouble.
Grijalba 7mo
