So glad to find Jessica’s videos. My daughter was recently diagnosed with kyphoscoliosis. It has started impacting her breathing. I hope these exercises eventually help with that.
I didn't know how much I needed this! It felt great. Thank you, Jessica. You always have our backs! 💙
Such a wonderful workout. I struggle with Kyphosis for years. This felt so good.
Thank you Jessica, you are the best!
OMG thank you so much. I just had rotator cuff surgery on August 28, 2023 & this looks like a perfect lace to work myself into.
Ditto! Needed this! Thank you thank you thank you! I feel great!
Thank you for sharing :) The workout feels great!
This is great. Thank you
This is great in the mornings to get my back and shoulders to relax
Thank for your help❤
I just found out that I have this. Thank you for the great workout.
Thank you it feels Great! 🙏🏽🧘🏾♀️💜
This was perfect stretch for me today.
Not sure if I have this but it surely does feel and stretches the spine in a great way 😊
Thank you for this Jessica. I have kypho-scoliosis and I have Harrington rods. I also have tethered spinal cord, with fatty filum and split cord, as well as arthritis in my facet joints. I find exercise difficult as I suffer with a lot of stiffness and pain. I appreciate any exercise shared in relation to my conditions. Thank you.
I've never heard of that condition? But this workout must be what i need, i feel it was a challenge when started but feel better after doing it!
Thank you
Just what I needed today and every day. I have terrible posture and feel hopeless that it will ever change.
I hope it helps!
Did it get better or like any changes?
Thank You for excellent morning! ❤
You are so welcome!
Hello from Boston MA. I shattered my T7 two years ago and have been in chronic pain ever since. Last xray showed a significant Kyphosis. Doc suggested PT but in my past experience with that it has been unhelpful. I stumbled across this video a few days ago. Put in an order for stretch bands. And just now finished the stretches. Day one. I'm so determined. Grateful for this. New subscriber sending love.
Have u seen any progress?
I have postural kyphosis, thank you! 💕💕 I will start to do this in the mornings 💜
Any improvement?
you're a treat to behold❤❤
thank you
Would love you to to consider covering kyphosis on your podcast
Kyphosis is an exaggerated, forward rounding of the upper back. In older people, kyphosis is often due to weakness in the spinal bones that causes them to compress or crack.
I have spinal stenosis along with the hyperkyphosis/scoliosis with some excessive anterior pelvic tilt on right (scoliosis lean side). My scapula's are stuck in wing. I've done PT for lumbar and hip issues, but never for hyperkyphosis. I believe the hyperkyphosis is what created all the issues to begin with (well, and high right foot arch). I'm constantly correcting upperback. It's exhausting 😪
What has help me the most out if PT even though nor addressing kyphosis is Core Stability Training.
Jessica you are amazing. I have vascular Ehlers Danlos. I am 64 and have kyphosis. I dislocate my shoulder and other joints and I subluxate some discs in my spine. I have no strength in all my muscles and must use an electric wheelchair. Do you have a suggestion on how I could do a similar exercise for my spine without being on my knees? I did the first series of movements without the use of the cord you had in your hands. I was very gentle with myself because I had a subluxated disc at the top of my spine. Well Jessica while doing the movements, I felt a move and pop as the subluxated disc went back into place. I cannot wait to tell my physio about the knowledgeable professional woman on TH-cam. I have been seeing my physio every week since 2003.
the sitting down spread legs one brother i got a hunch back of notre dame
How often should I do these exercises, and how many reps please? I also have lordosis! Can I still do these exercises?
Would this be just as effective in the standing position?
Muy simpatica
Will there be a video for LORDOSIS, too, please? (The opposite of Kyphosis.)
I have kyphosis cause by having two severe wedge fractures at T6/7 I have severe osteoporosis are these excersise suitable for me
I have severe breathing difficulties also due to having very severe emphysema
Sitting on the floor for me is not an option and neither is raising my arms straight up
I can get them only half way u
Which alternative position is there where u are on ur knees
Is it fine if you pain in your upper back after this??..... I have been doing this from last three days and feel pain too... Is it okk to have some???? Should I continue this??? Really confused.
❤❤❤
GREAT INSTRUCTION thanks .I've looked at your videos BUT to be honest this is only Hatha yoga from a posture point of view . keep up your videos. Yoga Pilates Chi Kung whatever all practise is good .Infinite's blessings be with you YJ x
❤
My wrists hurts soo bad when i do 6:20 what can i do ?
Think
I think you need to start w defining kyphosis for those who aren't familiar or informed.
She did
Google it - definitions and explanations abound
She did at 0:26
She did
I actually like that she went straight into the stretches and didn’t waste time
Ok but actually my whole line were born with it, so not always postural, in our case we can trace it back to Charlemagne , his father and son both had it, in our case it's more likely royal inbreeding, look at the queens back , she had it too, she was my 4 th cousin
Postural kyphosis and congenital kyohosis are different, she's only talking about postural
