I found the tiled walls in that fortress really interesting so of course had to spend a little time Googling more about them. They are Portuguese & tell the story of the history of Angola. On another sadder note the corruption is awful. Thank you for talking about it. Your videos are a really informative travelogue.

I miss Angola a million, I'm a fruit abuser, and every time I land to Angola I faint to fruits lol. However, I massively thank you.
So glad to hear you enjoyed watching our Luanda visit. One day is certainly not enough to know about your country. We saw a lot of landscape that we had never seen anywhere else. Our guide was excellent explaining how people don’t have basic needs. These things most people take for granted. It was a humbling experience.

Beer costs less than a dollar, in an upscale bar on the beach. I’m half Angolan, and don’t get where the most expensive city comes from. Heard it many times. Unless you’re perhaps comparing it to salaries/ cost of living? Cool video, subscribed for more.
That’s a great point! The ‘most expensive city’ label often comes from the experience of Western oil company employees trying to maintain the same lifestyle they have back home, which drives up demand for the few homes that meet those standards. But as you know, the reality for locals or those familiar with the place can be very different. Sounds like you have a better perspective on this than I do. As of July 2020, there are eight recognized species of Adansonia, with six endemic to Madagascar, one native to mainland Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, and one native to Australia. The mainland African species (Adansonia digitata) also occurs on Madagascar, but it is not a native of that island. Baobabs were introduced in ancient times to south Asia and during the colonial era to the Caribbean. Could Zarko please put the camera on the object you are talking about. That would be much more interesting to actually see the object instead of you walking around.

Becouse, i live in a T3 apartment, and I pay $35, most people in the city don't pay more than $150, don't pay tax, how can u tel to the world that this is the most expensive country? In ilha de Luanda, where the tourists most like to share their free time, a dinner is not up to $5, I went to Brazil, to EUA, Cape town, I could not experience the same thing with dollar. I did not found apartment under $400 in Tijuca, Leblon, copa cabana for ex. In cape town, my nice pay, the same apartment u pay here by $150, in sea point, she pays $1800.. in Florianópolis, BR, u pay up to $1000 (up to R$5000). Which is the most expensive country u use to tell more expensive in the world? What we live, is our own problems, local problems, becouse foreigner come with small money, and live in the most best place, best restaurants, hotel and so on.

Now I'm living in Centralidade de Lossambo, in Huambo, something like Centralidade de Sekel, in Luanda, O used to pay $35/mth, so, now I have to pay $45 duplex T3, again, does it sound wrong? If yes u don't know Angola. Even some foreigner pay $50 to $65, it doesn't make difference. This is the average prices in the rest of places in Angola, except Luanda. Só, in the historical city center of Luanda, like: São Paulo, Kinaxixi, Mutamba, Prenda, u can find easily T3 apartment under $100 (100.000 kwanzas)/mth. In the most provinces u find under $50. Impossible to find in countries like Sth África, Nigeria, Namibia or Mozambique, I know very well these countries and understand the cost of live in these places, where in some I have family. Even in BraZil, unless u gonna live in "Favela da Rocinha". Restaurants, most expensive places, alone, u can eat and drink with $20 (20.000 Kwanzas). Would u find in other referred countries? Forget! Sorry my eng is very bad.
