If the previous countries that Wode Maya has visited shared their data, you would find they have seen an exponential increase in tourists. In my country tourism brings in over 100m USD and we are a small country, so it's a huge return. Angola would easily hit a billion I'm sure.

Nice to learn Kimbundu ❤ it's one of the major linguistic groups of Angola.
We have about 8 different traditional languages plus some 20 subgroups of those.
Also, the national languages (that's how we call the traditional languages) tend to be more spoken in the rural areas and less so in the cities.
My practical advice would be to learn Portuguese at the same time (because it's spoken everywhere).
If you know a bit of Spanish, you'll be easier to learn Portuguese because they are very similar languages.
If you visit Angola, you'll probably use Portuguese 95% of the time.
And you'll be most welcome irmão 🙏🙂
      Abraço de Angola 🙏

The media showed just bad things constantly about Africa via TV, films, newspapers, etc. As I have grown older, I have learned all countries have good and bad parts plus stereotypes can be dangerous. Bem-vindo a Angola!
Angola played a crucial role for the liberation struggle of Namibia, although they had the civil war which began immediately after they became independent from Portugal in November 1975.. The most important battle in the liberation struggle of Namibia was fought by People's Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN) members alongside the Angolan MPLA (Movimento Popular de Libertação de Angola) and Cuban troops against South Africa and UNITA (União Nacional para a Independência Total de Angola) in Angola.
The battle of Cuito Cuanavele took place in August 1985, and after several days of fighting, it ended in a stalemate. This battle was not only part of the Angolan civil war but also of the Cold War itself. UNITA was supported mostly by western powers and their direct ally was South Africa. On the other side, there was the MPLA representing the interests of countries of the Eastern Bloc and directly supported by Cuban soldiers and SWAPO.

In reality, what Africa more needs is severe and urgent birth control programs, as the population of most countries on that continent is growing at explosive rates, threatening the entire planet. Because of this, they are already exporting Africans even to South America!
