I travelled to Madagascar 16 years ago. The people are friendly, and I never felt unsafe in Tana. Madagascar does have some of the worst poverty I’ve seen anywhere in the world. While I was watching your video, I couldn't help but get emotional as I thought about the times I complained about my life and still do and to see how those people live. Its amazing how they recycle anything they get their hands on. I sent a link to my mother of your video for her to watch it. She is 85 years old now, and it's amazing how she still goes on. My dad is almost 94 years old, and I feel the same about him. It's been so long since I mentioned your name to my mother, so I am sure she would love to see your videos again. @@West-rn-showvn-ist-chickYes but there's no reason to not keep your street clean at least. Loads of countries stoop up again after devastating wars were everything was in ruins, and the first thing to do is clean up. Organize your group and find as many helping hands as possible, and commit to that free labour for some time. It improves your mental state. There's no reason to sit in rubbish and step onto rubbish daily if you and everyone around you is healthy and capable of fixing it. My family is from Bosnia, kinda a poor country, but it's at least clean. Sweeping your own streets doesn't cost you a penny. Independet from where the life lottery makes you end up. Just a thought. I'm not hating, I simply care more about such living conditions than most people here.

Poverty and suffering is on America's door step. Just you wait until Kamala becomes president and what she's going to do to your country. The 10 million across the southern border that have already arrived, is just a drop in the bucket. America's SCREWED !
Brush up on your Haitian Creole skills, those skills will come in handy when your new neighbors from Port Au Prince move in. If you have pets, keep them inside.

This what I was talking about. Slums in countries varies differently. In my country, the Philippines, the largest slum name Tondo but people there even poor have access to clean water, electricity, with social pension from the government, free, Schools till college, hospital till 100% of the bills.

The main issue in Madagascar is extreme poverty, which contributes to a lack of healthcare, education, and basic infrastructure. Additionally, deforestation and habitat destruction pose a severe threat to the island’s unique biodiversity, where many plant and animal species are endemic and already endangered. Climate change worsens the situation, causing prolonged droughts and food shortages, leading to a humanitarian crisis in some regions of the country.
