Nice.... I was once only relying on the virtual dj's sync for beats but since I bought the wego2 and watching this video it made much more sense to rely on your ears for comparing beats and synchronizing them on your own.
Lol, what are you on about? There is no hostility. It's just that more advanced mixer sets have different programs that work better with that mixer. It's not under rated at all. Lots of people who want to get into djing and dont have a mixer use virtual dj.
in this video you have using master tempo enabled, right ? remember to actívate (in the configs) master tempo in "advanced" mode which is more smooth and accurate.
I like this tutorial. It's pretty basic but has some useful tips in it. I have a problem with beatmatching though. I don't want to rely on the software or controller to sync for me so I covered the lights on the controller and just ignore the screen when beatmatching. The only problem is when you align the beats properly the pulse led light shifts to let you know. Which basically makes it to obvious to beatmatch. Is there anyway to turn them off or any solution for that?
i have a problem with my headphones setup. I cant hear the song that is not being played until i turn up the volume on that song, i only hear the one that has volume (i did touch the headphones buttons). Please help
Yes, always rely on your ears. Sync works fine most of the times, but it's actually stupid. Sometimes if you press it just to perfect beatmach, it can mess up and traslate the audio file one bar forward or back, just because the software "thinks" that's correct.
Could you make a video tutorial for the Numark Mixtrack Quad? It comes with virtual dj, and you could probably show us some tricks and more. It's a good 4 deck controler for a low price.
I understood the video but I still have a doubt. I can roll the buttons for High, Mid and Low to the left and right, but can I use the resource "Kill" pressing down the button to remove the High, Mid and Low sound suddenly?
Hi i am belong to Iran. It was a very very nice tutorial for me. but i have a big problem with using CUE button. I appreciate it if you tell me more about this.Thx
looks a nice controller, i dont like the handle on it. seems a bit pointless as i wouldn't carry it around unprotected. so therefore i cant think of any reason why they put that there, its just extra bulk. i have a hercules rmx which i think aint to shabby i only starting out. can you do a vid on beat matching with it as it only has cue wheels i norm set to scratch and tap the wheels. but like you say it stops the track
Make you videos better, record both ( the software and the controller) then go into the editing software that you make you videos in and then mask or layer one of the videos so the other video is in the same video
Press auto sync and act like ur dj ing and mixing terrible terrible...use vinyl not time coded vinyl they are just as bad if not worse...to be a dj u must Not use mp3 files at all...time coded vinyl also uses mp3 files and ACT like they r using vinyl...u see a laptop or cd table or mp3 assume cheating...via bpm counters..auto sync buttons etc etc catch my drift?
Can't mix vocal over vocal? I'm think you could be wrong their cause in "Dubstep" or "Trap" genre music majority of vocals in those tracks often have vocals (robotic, low & high pitch) overlapping one another constantly! Music like dance, electric, hip-hop, house...your just narrowing only music that have a slow-pace in rhythm an not counting the crazy SmashUp fast transitive with or without deep low booming bass when it drops in a track category! Today music ain't what it use be in 90's techno era, we have a new 2014-next genre type called "TRAP" (search AllTrapMusic in youtube)! Dupstep & Drum N' Bass is so last year but most ppl still listen to them once in awhile.

good advice for first time DJs especially when sync button doesn't get mentioned.proper way to learn watching this.
Whats with the hostility towards virtual DJ, I love it. Id say its really the most underated DJ program around.
Lol, what are you on about?

great video - looking into getting a WeGo2 the moment so this has helped in my investigation.

Hi Jonathan! Would you recommend using the WeGo for bar gigs and such?
I understood the video but I still have a doubt. I can roll the buttons for High, Mid and Low to the left and right, but can I use the resource "Kill" pressing down the button to remove the High, Mid and Low sound suddenly?
