Hi @kevinbarnes5185 👋 You're very welcome! I'm glad the video was helpful. Regarding the muffled stems, you might want to try preparing your stems before mixing. In order to prepare stems, you can either right-click on any track or group of tracks, and select "prepare saved stems", or you can just drag and drop the file(s) directly into the Stems Folder. NB: Preparing stems requires high processing power, so if it takes too long your computer might be struggling with the process. Thanks again for the kind words and happy holidays from Young Simba Empire ❤
I'm having two issues with my virtual DJ because my virtual dj was working fine until i updated the Virtual DJ that's when i release that my samplers have changed positions i deleted the sample banks the created my own sample banks then i began having issues 😢😢 1.... I created my own sampler bank but i can't load the same effect twice in the same sampler bank 2.... I'm using Pioneer DDJ-XP1 to play my effects and drums but if load 32 samplers on the sampler bank i can't play all the 32 but it's only 16 that plays and in that case too its only the 8 pads at the left up side and the 8 pads at the right 8 pads plays the effect and at the same time too the 16 pads at the left down side and the right down side plays the same effects that i set for the uppers upper pad instead of playing the effects that i set for the down 8 pads at the left and the 8 pads at the right 😢😢 please help me because before everything was working fine until i updated my virtual DJ
In automix. Can I have the songs star mixing at a certain length of the song? If a song is 5 minutes I don't want the whole 5 minutes. I want to only play 2.5 minutes of each song
*Hi @HEAVENLYTUNESDJANGEL * 👋🙂 Absolutely! You can control how long each song plays in automix using the "Automix Editor." Here's how: - Open the Automix Editor on Virtual DJ. - Your tracks will be displayed in pairs. Locate the pair where you want to adjust the length. - The editor will usually have a timeline or markers for In and Out points. Drag these markers to define the portion of each song you want to play (e.g., drag the Out point to the 2.5-minute mark). Bonus Tip: While you wait for my in-depth video on the Automix Editor (uploading next month), you can check out my earlier video on the Automix feature ( Link: th-cam.com/video/I0A63ZA0mHs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-jlx8g6cdlvZBjVK ) for a basic overview.
Recently when I use VDJ on my home PC (Desktop), when I select and play a track it automatically starts to Dpownload it to the cloud. I have no idea why or how this is happening. PS. I'm an old guy, not too techy! LMK, what you think. Thanks BTW., love your informational videos.Thanks. Tom
Not all tracks have a Intro or Outro, but most tracks have either a 4, 8 or 16 bar intro, the outro is usually when the tracks vocals have come to an end and the track then just plays out.
Hi @ajjasper367 & @lickeyTongue 👋🙂 I made this tutorial about how you can Transition Between Songs with a big BPM difference, I think it might help out th-cam.com/video/ideH48FJJTA/w-d-xo.html
Hi @mariomensahnicholas8889 👋🙂 I haven't used VDJ on mac yet but I think the process is the same as windows. What I do to mass analyse songs for BPM, keys etc. is " Right click on a folder - Batch - analyze for BPM etc. " This will analyze every song in that folder. Alternatively, I click on 1 song then press ctrl+A to select all the songs then right click on any song and select batch, then analyze for BPM. Hope this helps 🙂
