Can you Djay only with the DDJ and without the tablet please?
you can do it with a computer, but it can not run by itself. you need a computer, phone or tablet.

+Jibraan Jibz if it is not an apple phone, you may need an extra adapter for the cord that connects the device, but in general, yes, you can use any kind of phone that can install djay 2

I didn't try this myself but I found an article stating that you can use it on android with a USB OTG cable for your tablet/phone and a powered USB hub to provide power to the console. Console (using pc cable)->USB HUB->USB OTG->Phone/Tablet
