Huddison, another great and clear video. You asked about AMD graphics cards. Earlier this year, I completed my first self-built computer with MSFS in mind, and in preparation I did a lot of research on each key component, including of course graphics cards. I focused on AMD cards. Based on that research (keep in mind I am in the US, so UK prices may vary), I would recommend the following AMD GPUs for each of the cost brackets you used in the video: 500-999 - Radeon RX7600XT (around US$300); 1000-1999 - Radeon RX7900GRE (around US$540); 2000 and above: Radeon RX7900XTX (around US$900). For my build - which cost US$1,450 - I chose the 7900GRE and have been very happy with it on MSFS.

Thank you for the video. I'm completely new to the SIM. Just installed yesterday.looked great. Gpu died on new system. New one requested. So glad I found the site. Lots to learn.
@@Huddison make sure that you use the PC for the sim only nothing else and AMD for motherboard and CPU deffo with Nvidia video card. Windows 11 noooo and finally a good cup of tea for the instalation of the sim.

I am using my self-built computer (AMD 7700X cpu, AMD Radeon RX7900 gpu, 1 TB Crucial 3P Plus NVMe drive, 32 GB G.Skill Flare DDR5-6000 CL32 ram) for both MSFS and general home use (Win11, Office 365, etc). I am not a content creator and I find the computer works great with MSFS (albeit with only a 1080p monitor).
First of all One can not go wrong by Huddison's teachings and Congrats for those who moved from X-Box to PC WOO HOO Good Job . A slight warning though you might end up with more aeroplanes and or sceneries then you can handle. heard rumours windows 11 end support ??
I am still currently trying to download it on Windows 11, Acer Nitro 15 which I got specifically for MSFS but I am still at 5% after 8 hours. I tried all day yesterday trying to download it but then did a clean sweep and now it seems to be going even slower. Any advice? :)

I've not run into any issues yet with Win 11 and compatibilities Mike.

Some have requested using a VPN. I use to also get terrible downloads on my old PC - our discord might be of further help.
There's a vid which shows a quick way to port the 200gb over using the Official folder. Just find Transfer to New PC.
