    I believe that the "Volumetric speed" located under the filament tab could be used to select speeds for different filaments

    Thanks for the video Wayne, very helpful.
    I have just upgraded my Sindoh DP200 to a Qidi machine which comes with a skinned version of Cura. It's a lovely piece of kit and the slicer preset config of 'Fine 0.2" seems to print the Roughgen components OK with similar print times and weights to your instructions. Print quality is really nice. While I have done lots of engineering projects in metal and plastic I have never built or flown a model before so completely new territory. Spares will be needed.

    Can you be kind enough to provide "Print Setting file" for a wing both PLA and LW-PLA for Prusaslicer 2.5. That way we can upload the print setting file in PrusaSlicer to print various wing parts. Thanks!

      Yep, its on the website... just click on the "prusa Config" button to download it.

    Bought the files and ordered all the carbon and electronic parts. Printed a few parts in PLA and they match your weights and got Pruca profiles working, never tried that slicer before. My ender 3 has the DD mod, do you change the retraction settings for bowden tube and direct drive? Waiting for some PLA-LW to turn up to print the rest on!!

      You can dial in the retraction settings using the TestPart in the Printing config folder. Some Boden tube machines need a little more retraction, some direct drive can use less. If there are voids in the skin reduce retraction, if there is excess / bumps increase retraction.

    Interested in your technique. Would like to try your sample part but couldn't locate it on your website.

      The sample part is in the "Prusa Config" download on the website "how to" page under "material settings and building" about half way down

    Hey boss I think you should look into flight test on TH-cam or FB. It's a good community of rc planes

    Thanks Wayne for bringing us Prusaslicer, I have already made the leap from Cura, following your recommendations.
    Taking into account these small errors, Simplify3D still seems better to you, I have tried it with the Test that you have on the web and I have obtained the best result with Prusaslicer. Would you have a profile for an Artillery X2 to print the test from Simplify3D?
    Thank you!

      Cura 4.11 (4.12,4.13) have the best wing and fin results, best skins in PLA. They are all about the same for the Foaming LW-PLA. Simplify3D has the best results for PETG.
      Prusa does faster printing than Cura. Simplify3D and Prusa 2.5 all have about the same print quality... Cura 5.0+ is still lacking a working Combing mode.
      For Simplify3D I do have a settings list. I don't have a specific X2 profile... I use an X1 profile with my X2 without issue... but would be easy to add the leveling code for the X2...

    Can the prusa slicer be successfully used with the Creality Neo ?

    • @soarkraft
      @soarkraft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      probably... it is in the creality section as a choice...
