    I am going to pass on an $80 bump and run club. I have used it and don't want to give up other positions in the bag. Nice reviews. Thanks.

      Fair enough! There arent too many spots in the bag open, and I don't think it makes my bag, but it definitely has some good uses for it@

    I spend most of my time in the rough and I use this club when I’m 40 to 60 out, I use the 45 when 100 to 120 out. I have a hard time with regular wedges . I enjoyed your review on the club . Thanks

    I just purchased the 55 degree. Will be testing it out this weekend. Club looks solid for mid to short game. Seen some videos where they hit 120-150 yards with SQ Striker Wedge.

      How does the 55 work?

    Vokey 60° and a Cleveland Niblick 42° are my currently used wedges. Besides putter my niblick gets the most use by far.

    Very Curious to know How this club is using out of the sand?? The 55 deg. would be the “sand wedge” degrees right? Thanks so much for this Great review.. is one I needed to see as I’m considering this. Best from Ontario, Tyler⛳️🏌️‍♂️

    Hey, I don't think your going to hit your 350 like goal, but I just got the 45 degree Square Strike and love it and would love to add the 60 degree also. So if you would like to give it away anyway, I would appreciate it very much. I am 64 yrs old and just now learning golf. The 45 degree has made a big difference in my short game, but I currently don't have a 60 degree wedge. It looks like something that could help me out in bunkers and uphill shots. Thanks for reviewing it. Hey, if you can, review the Cleveland Golf Launcher Turbo HB Iron Set. I'm intrigued with that technology. Anything that will help an old timer compete quicker. Thanks, Mike

      I wouldn't be surprised if we did hit the like goal. Ive seen some crazy things on this channel, which is why ive set it so high... But trust me you will be entered! I appreciate your support and your comment. I will keep an eye out for the Cleveland Golf Launcher Turbo HB Iron Set, and maybe I can review it for you :) Good luck learning this great sport and happy golfing!

    This club is basically a chipper. Should only be used around the greens for little chips. You can play different shots but the club is more upright than a normal wedge and it’s hard to swing it like a normal wedge it a putter with loft basically

    • @DimpledBalls
      @DimpledBalls  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i totally agree! I did want to test the limits of the club and see exactly how versatile it is though. and it is not bad! Definitely an asset in thicker grass, thanks for your comment!

    I use the Vokey 58 degree lob wedge but I can see where this could really help on the short chips near the green.

    • @DimpledBalls
      @DimpledBalls  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vokeys seem to be at the top of the wedge pyramid still as they have been for a while.... but I totally agree these Square Strikes are pretty versatile and might be worth trying out to see if you like them!

    i holed one from 60 yds out with this club. I dont get the hate on these clubs. I have the 45, 55 & 60 Mazel which is the knock off version of the Square Strike. i also have a 52 degree PXG 0311 thats my wedge set up and i dont see these clubs coming out the bag. I use them for full shots, half shots & chip shots. All these clubs cover from 120 yds to green side

    • @DimpledBalls
      @DimpledBalls  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Appreciate your thoughts and opinions. I also don't get the hate on the clubs either, they aren't that bad. I'd seriously consider them if I didn't already use the Kirkland Wedge set, but I'm really glad you found them to work well for you! Happy golfing

    I have to ask whether a high bounce SW or LW wouldn't do the same job and free up a club slot. Similar to a chipper, I always figured you could do the same job with clubs already in your bag

    • @DimpledBalls
      @DimpledBalls  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I am convinced you can do maybe 80-90% of the things this club can do with a larger bounce SW or LW, I love the Kirkland wedges and can hit them mostly everywhere except maybe extreme rough which I rarely find on courses near me

  • @reddtpjc
    @reddtpjc 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I believe these clubs are designed for chipping and pitching from the short grass up around the green using a putting stroke not for taking full swings
    like you are demonstrating.

    • @DimpledBalls
      @DimpledBalls  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah I hit the club a few different ways in this video to test out the versatility for sure, mostly because I wanted to see if it was as versatile as my current 60 degree lob wedge

      More than half my bag is hand-me-down clubs. My irons are the original ping eye 2 set from the 90s. If it works it works! But also these square strikes are not bad if you are looking to upgrade!
