This is a great breakdown on bevels, you really nailed it Josh! I always preach paying close attention to bevel sizes and there's no better way to do that than to study reference.
How do you fix this issue: you have a cube (default) and you add a Boolean to it, cutting out a cylindrical hole. But the cylinder wasn’t perpendicular to the cube, so now the edge loop joining the two shapes at the Boolean, has varying angles around it that need to be beveled. On one side of the circle (loop) it’s a sharp, acute angle, and on the other it’s an obtuse, shallow angle. The bevel will be uneven, just looking awful, with one area very small and one very wide. How to fix this?
Mr Josh is the best person to answer my question, is there a way to have different bevel amounts maybe by stacking bevel mods and assigning the edges to each bevel modifier like a vertex group.
I am not Mr. Josh, but I'm not sure if he'll read this. Blender Bros did put out a Stacking_Bevels_in_Blender.pdf which showed "How to Stack Bevels in vanilla Blender". It came out about mid-June and may have been a link in the description to one of their videos or was sent out via their email articles. It did not mention vertex groups.
My channel is a never-ending work in progress. I've made the commitment to start going hard this year with various advanced tutorials such as the Blender Bros. The goal is to hone my Blender skills and take production value to the next level and more.
Ok ok so hear me out Im understanding this but let’s say i go to make a revolver specifically a 350 smith and Wesson when i go to bevel the sides of the barrel of the revolver i cant figure out how to bevel without it messing up my front and back face of the barrel with those triangles and merge to a single vertex i cant wrap my damn head around it no matter how much i fidget with it any tips
Don't waste your time with these guys. They give you terrible advice to sell their addons. If you do pay for their stuff they spam you with emails multiple times a day. If you unsubscribe from their emails they will delete your paid account.

Those were some nice tips man. But you should blink more, you stare like a serial killer.
