Thank You so much. I have an E820 and have been struggling with it for some time. I have always felt my watch was not set properly and I needed to do a zero reset which other videos have mentioned, but never went any further. I am so glad I found this video. For the first time since I bought it, I finally feel I have set the watch correctly. 👍
Yes thank you for your time in helping us to figure out these watches ⌚️ i left mine on the shelf in my watch cabinet for like 3 yrs. Thought it was dead. Thanks to you it was in power saving mode. Who knew all this time it wrks great i missed it quite a bit. Again thank you.
Excellent contents and clear explanation - Could you pleas4e help me out with what is the correct battery / capacitor for my Citizen Ecodrive AV0020-55H... I love this watch and bought it with my very first salary payment. Thank you mate..
Hi I have followed the video to set time etc but when I get to the date the dial just turns repeatedly and wont stop until its gone back to the original date It does the time, leapyear month etc fine, its the date that is playing up. So once it's done that the 2nd hand doesn't move,is it because it needs a thorough charge?
I reset everything now my second hand won’t move at all. Even during the rest. Everything else moves except the second hand. Just replaced the battery yesterday.
Why did this video come up for my GN-4W-S? It doesn't work. Also I downloaded the manual for my citizen eco-drive GN-4W-S and it doesn't have zero reset instructions. But I am getting the 2 second movement, some functions are disabled, I have charged the watch in direct sunlight for 15 hours.
Hello, the watch is powered by light so It would have run out of charge. I would pull the crown out (you don't have to do this, but when the crown is in its using energy) leave the watch on the window sill as natural light is better then artificial for say 48 hours. Put the crown in, it should be ticking away fine and then follow the video. If hands don't align follow my all 'reset video' and then this video. Double ticking means the watch still needs charge. With a full charge which shouldn't take more then a few days on the window sill the watch will have a minimum 6 month power reserve.
A quirk of this caliber is how the chronograph works. To use the chronograph pull out main crown to first position then rotate the lower needle at 6, to CHR. Push crown back in . To start chronograph press in top right button. To stop chronograph push in top right button. To get 20th seconds reading push lower right button. To reset chronograph push in top right button for at least 2 seconds. That's it.
I bought this watch, set it up, wore it a couple of times then put it away. Now a couple of months later its not even ticking anymore. I dont suppose you have a fix for this do you? Nothing i press on the watch works and after leaving it in the sun for a few hours (thinking this might recharge it) but still nothing happening. I would be grateful for any ideas you might have on this fault. Thanks
Hey not sure if you've still got this problem, but when this happened to me I left my watch on the windowsil, it took a few days for it to charge, a few hours isn't enough in my experience, just leave it there for days or even weeks until it starts up again, that fixed it for me :)
@@emiloguechoons9030 Just wanted to say thanks for the advice. I have put the watch back on the windowsill and low and behold, 3 days later its ticking again, so thanks again.
You have to have a PhD. in Astro Physics to set this watch. After trying this video and a dozen others, and wasting 3 days (not kidding) - I threw the watch IN THE TRASH where it belongs in the first place and went back to my manual Patek Philippe. Never again.
This guy’s videos make setting the watch child’s play, absolutely crystal clear. It’s all about common sense, not physic’s doctorates. THREE DAYS ? To set the time and date takes no more than five minutes.
Pity Citizen could not do proper instructions. My watch was on the verge of going in the bin, only thing made me look up youtube was the fact I had received it as a gift. 10 out of 10 for this video. 0 out of 10 for Citizen. I think I will tell still friends never buy a Citizen because of fact they just want to sell the watch and don't care if people can actually use it to tell the time, just as a piece of jellewry.

What is the significance of this watch in the market? Is it a 'Daytona' killer?
Hello, this watch for me is all about affordable technology. You could call It the 'look for less'. Thanks for the comment.

Not helping at all. Mine still does not move. Just not working for me. I will have to go to Citizen. Next watch won't be a Citizen watch.
