I have not worn this watch in over 5 years because I have not been able to get it set. I have spent an amazing amount of hours and frustration following other instructions but Between your reset video and time setting video, in less than 15 minutes my watch is finally set. THANK YOU

I have watched several videos on this and you by far provided the BEST instructions without taking for granted I knew something already and left no step unturned. Thank you....I got my watch back now!!!!
At last! Crystal clear instructions for setting this particular watch. I believe the watch has had a lot of unfair criticism from owners because they have difficulty setting it up. The instruction manual leaves a lot to be desired, it's far from clear, mainly down to translation problems. Well done, you have probably saved many E820's being consigned to a dusty drawer never to be used.
If anyone from Citizen monitors this channel, listen well: You seriously need to hire this man to re-write your manuals! As they are now, they are incomprehensible, at least to English speakers. I found law school to be a piece of cake compared to setting my new Citizen watch by using the manual, and I finally gave up at about 4:00 a.m. last night. After spending 5 minutes with this guy, though, I get it. Thank you, my British friend!

I am so happy to find this video. My perpetual calendar has been messed up for over a year. This video makes it easy to get it dialed in. Much easier than the owners manual.

Wow I’ve had my watch for 6yrs ran it for 2 . I thought it was done ,took it to an honest watch guy and he told me it moved a a little so just keep it in sunlight or even light period and it would work.and it did so happy, thanks for this video to show me how to set all dials.You are a charm for this.!

Yeah I was about to comment on this too! The hand keeps moving a bit but my issue is the hand where it tells you the year keeps on spinning, I probably messed it up without knowing
You're a life saver....I've been in different stores but none of them could fix the time in this watch...being told that I need a degree to set the time 😂👍👍👍
My husband has owned this watch for over 5 years but every year when we have Daylight Savings Time and have to move the clocks forward and back,we can’t figure out how to change the hour so he just wears it an hour off for part of the year. This video very easily helped solve that problem. I was able to change the hour and reset it. Thank you so much the easy instructions!

In my Citizen Eco-Drive watch, you don’t need to re adjust the time after doing anything else in the settings, it was designed to calculate every single second even while you’re on any other mood like chronograph, alarm or calendar, so once you finish what you are doing, all what you need is to return it back to “Time” mode and keep watching it while adjusting itself amazingly 😊

Thankyou soooo much. I have this exact same watch which I've had approx 7/8 years now and needed to reset it due to it being recharged after not getting enough light. I tried using the manual following its instructions to the t but it wasn't working now you've got me my watch back in 5 minutes. Cheers and keep up the good work 👍

Great help thanks. Had this watch 11 years and only now understanding how to set it correctly! When finishing this process and pushing the crown back in, my second hand doesn't start moving, it just stays there. The watch was dead and has been in the sun for a few days, maybe it needs more charge and is in power saving mode

This is a great video with a very clear and detailed explanation. Unfortunately, I had to return this because the watch kept losing time and I had to keep resetting it. For some reason the watch wouldn't let me reset the time to the exact minute that I wanted. Clearly it wasn't the watch for me. Oh well.
Hello, I think the watch needs a zero reset perhaps it lost power whilst being stored away in the shop. The watch would have a minimum 6 month power reserve as long as it had a full charge. These things are never explained clearly which is a shame for customers. Thanks for the comment
@@realmofwatches1133 Oh, it was working fine power wise, it's just my brain that wasn't compatible with the complexities of this particular world this watch was part of. I had no idea why I couldn't just reset the time ahead a few minutes without the whole thing going haywire. This was clearly not the watch for me and I returned it. Thank you for your help though.

This is cerainly a great video, i have to go to it twice a year to set my elderly neighbours watch, i have two questions/problems, the top right hand dial doesnt sit at 2 for two years past a leap year, should it? Also it is very difficult to flick the winding stem so that the hands move quickly, it takes me many attempts at it, eventually it does do it, but i couldnt be bothered with the hassle if it was my own watch tbh
