Very helpful - thanks for posting it!
FYI the All Zero position is at 7:06. It would have been a good idea to start with this, as it has to be done before the other settings (if you require it).

Hola Oscar, según entiendo el calendario funciona en coordinación con las manecillas, de modo que eso no se puede corregir externamente. Para eso debes remover las manecillas y hacer el ajuste correcto.

Dudes! All Zero First! The video repeatedly instructs the user to select Time, Alarm, or Chrono by moving the crown, but, you have to pull the crown out one step first! No mention of this on the video. My watche's date did not adjust the way demonstrated, the minute and hour hands had to move past 12am for each day. A lot more time and attention than a digital, or a simpler analog. The hands go round and round, and round some more; "good grief!" says Charlie Brown.

On my E811 I do not have to pull the crown to select Time, Alarm, Chrono. I wonder if this is different for the E810 , E812?

Hey all, I need help with my E812. I had to do an all reset because I kept it in a drawer. It’s now fully charged after a week of sitting near a window with direct sunlight. I am having difficulty setting the date. At first the date wouldn’t display correctly. I would see half of two numbers rather than the display of one whole number. It looks like it was stuck in mid rotation. After another all reset, the date now displays correctly.
Now the problem is setting the date itself. After I push the crown back in, the date begins to advance past the first and ends on the fifteenth. If I set the date again, it will advance to the correct date, but once I push the crown back in again, it will advance past the first and end at the fifteenth again. It’s stuck in a loop. Setting the date causes it to change to the wrong date. I’ve done the all reset at least 4 more times and still have no such luck. Do I need to send my watch in to be repaired? Can I go to any local jeweler or retail store for repairs? Thanks.

These watches are more trouble than they are worth. Hard to set, erratic. That said, mine came back to life after a couple of years in the dark which was surprising. E812 caliber.

Hello everyone. I have a problem and I would like to ask if someone knows anything about it. I have a Citizen GN-4W-S, N-E812, W200, Eco Drive Perpetual Calendar, its same with the picture on the video except that mine has an outside circle that says Tachymeter and has numbers all around the glass. I have it about 5 years now and I bought it about 500 Euros but sometimes it makes me hate it and wish to have a fake cheap one. The problem is with the crown. While I wear it as my hand moves the skin rotates the crown and it goes from time to chronograph or alarm and that makes it go away of the the actuall time. Because of this I have seen many times the time wrong and cause me troubles because of this. Also its really annoying when I set it back to time setting most of the times I have to wait for several minutes until it sets to the correct time. Isnt there a way for the crown to be locked or something? The crown is fully pressed backed in and even then it can change from time to chronograph or alarm. PLease answer if anyones knows something. Thank you very much in advanced.

I have this Citizen E812 GW-4N-S watch. I hate it! It always takes 40 minutes of trying to set the time and date so that the date is correct the next day. The user interface is terrible! I wind up just using it for time since I can never get the date right.

This movement is terrible. Avoid it if you can. It's reliable, but the interface has some serious faults. For example, if you have dual time set differently from your time and it is AHEAD by enough hours to be the next day, the calendar will advance to match it. But when you go back to your home time, guess what? The calendar doesn't scroll back 1 day. It rolls forward ALL THE WAY around the calendar to come back to your date. You cannot stop it until it completes. Also, if you accidentally advance the calendar ahead by one day, you cannot roll back -- you must scroll all the way around again. It is SLOW, because the minute and hour hands must scroll around TWICE for each day. Later movements by CITIZEN fix this problem. You are able to advance dates independently of the time display, and hour hands can move without requiring minute hand movement.

Right off the start, the instructions are bad. You have to pull the crown to the 1st position in order to select TME, CHR, L-TM, ALM.
