Yeah when you get to that power with a rotary ceramic apex seals are the way to go, however all the heat as well as the chance of pre ignition are worse if you had a shitty tuner. In my opinion once you get over 1000hp is when the ls swap is a better option. Also it can be done relatively cheaply and it give the car 50-50 weight distribution. Unlike the fd ls swapping an fc is actually an amazing idea that should seriously be considered when making so much power your car can reach 200 mph easily.'

I have owned 3 RX7's. A '80 GS, a '86 Turbo, and a '93 Turbo. When I got my first one, I was rowing through the gears and as I got my courage up, I started revving it high and higher until a buzzer went off. The motors are so rev happy that there's a buzzer and a light telling you when to shift. So I would just rev it until the buzzer went off and shifted up. So much fun.
And this car is so clean and so cool, there are no words. It just sounds evil too. I love it.
Needs to find a better brand of double stick tape.
