The Subaru 5 speed is weak. Mine wore out a synchro and I drive a regular Impreza, non turbo. The 6 speed is bulletproof.

People Around me are asking for 6-8 grand atleast now, with the cheaper ones being autos, and manuals going even to 10 grand. Every now and then tho the ones for 2-3k do show up

Ive got basically the same setup in my 84, with S5 running gear (CA smog legal) pushing about 350 whp.
Stock 84-85 rearends are pretty tough, 1st gens don't weigh much and bigger turbos keep the lowend punch at reasonable levels. My SE rearend has held up just fine for almost 15 years, about half of that daily driving although the last 5-6 years she has become a weekend car.
It's styling somewhat reminds me of a certain wangan machine
