Great video. Thankyou. Q. How can I stabilise my midfoot so that I can swim without getting a flare up due to foot movement? Aqua shoes have helped a bit but is there a way to tape the midfoot to stabilise during water activities?
I have no bump/lump on foot . But I have a tender point and get pain at midfoot also while doing dorsiflexion and plantar flexion I get tightness and pain in midfoot . I have a painful point at midfoot 5-7 cm from base of 2nd foot finger not anywhere else
I had a joint fusion surgery November 20th 2023 and the surgeon said it all fused well but, may 15th he took the cam boot off and told me i can walk on it. My mid foot still hurts some, could i use a ankle orthotic to help with some pain?
Tacodaddy, has the pain subsided since you posted 3 months ago? I can see how there could be some pain right after you take off the cast or boot but I would think pain would gradually go away as your foot becomes fully functional again.
When I pull the toe away from the the foot and down it’s very tight and sore over the top of the Hallux. Is this a tendon that is getting tighter? I’m scheduled for surgery in December possibly January to remove osteophytes on the top of the joint/ bone spurs

I've had 9 midfoot fusions.Nobody can fix it. Can you?

Can you feel a small lump on top of your foot. I also have tingling in the bottom of my foot.
