Good discipline leaving the 2/5 before you took a blow to the roll. You knew it was gonna happen. Even if you double or triple still not worth the risk at this stage. Looke forward to seeing you take the hits and the wins. 100k is just around the corner.
0:24 why do you raise to $18 and not $20? I find using $1 chips slows the game significantly, and so I just round to nearest $5 to speed it up and avoid the dealer having to make change etc which can be distracting and time wasting
AWESOME Vlog as always! You QUICKLY became my favorite watch. Great discipline w/ the rivered straight against full house. Looking fwd to the final session. 🎉😊❤
Thanks for all the time and effort you have put into your videos - im currently "starting over" to see if I can go from 1/2 no limit to higher stakes using proper bankroll management so its been fun to watch your videos and kinda be on the same journey!
please jedi master, teach us the way of the force and how to set with tens! Your channel is amazing, just came back from a session (I play 1/2) and watching your channel is helping me to improve, probably the most instructive poker vlog channel at the moment. Keep grinding, gg
Hi Sam great poker volg as always. I've watched ur vlog from ep1 till now. also I live in van too I usual play at hard rock and sometime at villa.hope meet you there in the future
Loving this series, but definitely would love to see more of the losing hands. when your stack goes from 1k+ back to 500 those are great spots for teaching.
A lot of the time they're just very small pots. I'll 3bet pre, then get jammed on and fold, or raise a few hands in a row, cbet and give up, or call a 3bet and fold. I include all the big hands win, or lose!
Love the thin value bets. Very hard to play against balanced opponents who go thin for value for 3 streets and bluff 3 streets as well. I’m also grinding 2/5 and trying to get my bankroll up to play 5/10
@@BluffaloSam lol took a shot today and left up 1000 after being down almost 2k. Won’t take a shot any time soon as the game played with a straddle as agreed upon by the whole table. But let’s just say I can’t wait until my roll is ready for 5/10 :)
Wondering if the "all in" is costing you money in a lot of situations. It seems like the opponent would be more likely to call a smaller bet, especially when you have quads, unless of course you really think they have something that would call an all in or they don’t have much left.
Bigger bet sizes when we're polar. I do bluff a lot for the same size, so if people are overfolding, I just up my bluff frequencies vs them. Another way to think of it. Pot sized jam only has to be called 1/4 times to be as profitable as someone calling a quarter pot 4 times in a row
I have been doing some research into low limit (loose and splashy) cash game exploits because of these insanely MW pots you are seeing. It's suggested (when opening) to increase PFR by 1 BB each time you raise until pots stop (generally) going mw. That might be a good idea since these people are insanely loose. Technically when doing this, you should tighten your range, but it's not really necessary when opponents do not tighten their calling ranges enough. (If villain uses a 3BB defending range vs an 8BB open, you don't need to change your 3BB RFI range, other than possibly focusing on more high card hands rather than low suited gap hands - since the SPR is lower than it would be otherwise.) I'd prefer to play a 20BB pot vs 1 opponent rather than 3.
I've also been exploring it too, I tested out raising to $10+$5 per limper. Went 6 ways with T9dd after a $35 raise pre 😂 I'll keep giving it a go, but the multiway pots aren't horrible, plus there are a few shortstacks that can easily just jam $180 and we lose a considerable investment. Plus SO many limp re raisers where I play.
Bahaha, if you care about results so much you can go through and add it up yourself from the sessions. Nobody’s hiding anything you poor fella, it was a great video
I too am reading the Mental Game of Poker! Feels so serendipitous to stumble on your vlog a week ago!

Thanks a lot man! Going to be more careful with BRM going forward, especially as the stakes get bigger.
7:30 great river shove - super thin value bet!

Yeah, I did change to $10/$15/$20 now, but I rarely play 1/3 nowadays
Nice laydown with the 4-5 straight loving the grind buudy!!
Thanks a lot buddy! It was a surprisingly easy laydown for me, calling was near 0% after he jammed hahaha

Uhh just hold onto the river and you'll be rewarded!

IWC ! Nice watch selection cheers 🥂
Dream watch of mine for over a very very long time!
Rock em Sam. Headed to a mid stakes tournament right now. LFG.
Take it down!!!!

I'm getting closeish to shot taking 5/10 now! Hope you get there as well :)

@@Mauricio-kf8qx that is a big jump with the straddle!!! Congrats on the win though!

@@BluffaloSam Yeah that's insane.
What device are you using for recording? Phone or gopro?
Samsung S22 phone
You need to make your card size 3x bigger so it’s easier to view
App developer is working on it!
My Guy, you gotta adjust where your face is in these, if you're in an LP I (we?) can't see the cards or effective stack.
Its only for preflop, it'll sort itself out after the action clears up
28 hands for 14 hours….
Sam, just picked the hands that were interesting. Kind of common sense.
A little bit card dead these 2 sessions. But not going to include every single hand I played during these 20+ hours of poker
Watch you for half an hour and you don’t give results! Total BS, thanks for nothing.

Results on episode 4 😂
@wompwomp7177 thanks fella:)
