Why it should be illegal get it right
who the fuck is picking up Frank Mir like that
😆😂damn good question
Brock??
@@levimassey2207that’s what i was thinking😂
Overeem, watch that fight
@@levimassey2207 im moreso talking bout in his gym
Mir is 1000% spot on
For sure.
mir actually has great takes and is a great man
Totally random. I wa watching s9me regional south Carolina mma fights. Mir was broadcaster. He was EXCELLENT!!! LIKE WOW! He would say everything the f8ghter would need to do to get out and BAM! He was right. I was 8mpressed with his fight iq.
Yeah he is just describing the Judo rules for armbars and triangles. If they lift up the move is done. It's like that at any Judo school go to.
And so was rampage
Frank's spot on. You can't just pull guard and expect that no one's gonna be able to do anything about it.
Tito is actually a likeable person when Chael is ln't tormenting him
🤣
Right? Poor guy was like a deer in headlights at those pressers.
💯 hes a regular nice guy who wants to outlive his children
Chael is mentally sick. Never champ. And I don't like tito.

So awesome listening to old school MMA legends talking with each other with such intellect and mutual respect
Very respectful - when they don’t have an upcoming fight.
It's weird. I love how raw and brutal 2000's MMA was but also love how smooth and precise how MMA has become.
middle school mma legends
Talking to*
Gracies are the most but hurt, salty people in the entire world.
EXACTLY!
Well, they are japanese descent so what you expect
They're protecting a legacy
@@Sulamanjansulttaanigracies are not japanese
@@0326Vet you are right, they are from mainland china originally, moved to brazil and changed their surname
Was anyone else shocked at how composed Tito was through this whole podcast? I kept waiting for him to slip and say something crazy.
Really weird to see Tito like that
Probably read the comments or someone told him to stop interrupting so much with personal stories.
politics. Mans.been a politician more recent thn a fighter.. 🗣
@levimassey2207 well he did retire like 5 years ago...
I think he's at his best mentally when he's not dehydrated and malnourished prepping for a fight. A lot of the interviews where he says weird stuff seems to be during a fight camp
No surprise there. Anytime the aura of BJJ is threatened, Brazilians try and change the rules. Gracies did it with Shamrock and Sakuraba, and now this. And salute to Frank Mir for keeping it real. If the move isn't illegal, it's your job to figure out how to stop it, not the commissions or company owners job to ban it.
If I remember too,Machida did exactly what Mir said against Rampage.
You say “and now this” like it wasn’t like 20 years ago hahha
@@jaywilliams6250 Well, I wasn't aware of the story until now, so...
Os gracies são diferentes do restante dos lutadores do Brasil fora que pilão e bate estaca deixa alguém tetraplégico tanto que hj em dia não é válido
Yeah, I never liked the gracies. I always felt they were overrated.
That slam probably did more for MMA, Pride and ultimately the UFC more than any other move in the early days. Name a moment more crazy.
Not more but equal: Kevin Randleman throw of Fedor.
@@rustyking8783 I was about to say the same thing, though Rampage's powerbomb and the fuckin chains and shit was what got me into MMA.
@@rustyking8783The reason that one is so crazy is because Fedor reversed and subbed Kevin ten seconds from landing on his neck where everyone thought he was dead.
Hughes vs Newton. Crazy crazy moment as both men were out.
Even Hughes baby carrying Trigg across the cage the ring was crazy. Hughes got lowblowes moments before btw.
Bonner vs. Griffin 1is on the list.
Machida figured that out right away when he popped out of the powerbomb during their fight.
And was fucking robbed.
3 genuine MMA legends right there 💯💯
🔥🐐🐐🐐💯
Straight Facts OG’s of the game 🫡
Who are they?
@@rajyavardhansingh4491 Frank Mir, Tito Ortiz and Rampage Jackson
@@rajyavardhansingh4491 Rampage Jackson, Frank Mir and Tito Ortiz.
That powerbomb put the fear of God in every bjj guy that saw it 😂
The way to counter a BJJ guy... 🤣 PULL OUT THE DAMN POWERBOMBS
BJJ guys in MMA love playing politics instead of learning how to deal with other martial arts' techniques 🤫
Love this conversation between these legends
🐐🐐🐐
I miss the original days when there were only three rules. No biting, no eye gouging, and no groin shots. That's it. Fight!
groin shots were legal too
It's cool getting to watch these guys sitting together and just talking about the good old days.
Dude I said the same thing such a honor thank god for podcasts 😂
Gracie's be like: "We're the best martial art ever! That's why they have to change all the rules for us!!!!!"
What Mir described is exactly what Lyoto Machida did when Rampage tried to power bomb him. Halfway up, Machida let go and was on his feet.
i could listen to frank mir talking about the fighting business forever
Get off your knees
@@elliottstevens7168why? I need to pray
Mir is 100% correct it’s fighting let them fight if they can’t handle or figure a way out of a situation they shouldn’t be fighters
Tito sitting there like a Class 1 student 😂😂😂😂
I love this new trend of retired MMA fighters podding together. Super cool, nostalgic
Some legends in that room, fr.
🐐💯🐐💯🐐
Most of the Gracies always whine or leave when they think they can't win.
Brazillians after breaking your arm during sparring:
"OH MY GOD THAT MOVE YOU DID WAS ILLEGAL HOW DARE YOU?!?"
The absolute greatest knockout in the history of mma. Rampage slammed the soul out of Arona.
Powerbombs were common in Japanese Judo in Japan. They teach it. I'm surprised the BJJ dudes tried to ban it.
They consider it as a cheap win because it cancels all their hard work and its proof that pro wrestling is real 😂😅
No that doesn’t mean pro wrestling is real or not real. Every technique can be defeated and every fighting style. That doesn’t matter. I don’t see what the big deal is. They don’t have a problem in Japan with it. They invented this and they how to defend against the technique they don’t complain.
@@Coffeeanddonuts The greek invented this before the japanese. This is a wrestling move bruh
Read the Takeuchi documents. @@colorfulbleeding
@@MrZayJamesExactly.They were big mad that their guy lost.😂
Soccer kicks to the face on a downed opponent and stomp outs were legal in pride, that's how wild it was. 😅
I miss the ring😅
Yeah, shit was brutal.
That's what made Pride fc so entertaining. They basically held anime fights irl.😂
it should still be legal keeps it more real and natural , modern ufc and mma really caters to grapplers
@@KWilloIt was real life WWE.
Tito being coherent is such a rare majestic sight
That's how an art becomes a mastery, you never stop learning.
How is this Podcast not exploded in the mma community
Great freaking question 😅
Frank Mir slowly looking like Joey Diaz as he ages
These 3 together is epic
🐐🐐🐐
🎶 *SLAM!* 🎵[Onyx starts playing]
Duh duh duh let the boyz be boyz SLAM
Underrated comment 😂
Gracies lost control over jiu jitsu and they were seething the whole way.
This is such an awesome conversation. Love these guys. OG UFC.
That power bomb Rampage did to the guy was wild.
I agree. Making it ilegal would be bad.
I agree with Frank, but to hear Frank Mir say “let it go.” is crazy lol out of all people you wouldn’t think he’d be the one to say it 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
It’s one of the most iconic images of mma; rampage making the power bomb a legit technique
ngl that power bomb looked like a cheat code lol
Frank Mir is awesome, very articulate. Tells you why the move shouldn't be legal, and how to counter.
Fascinating! Man what a combo of personalities for a conversation, so awesome!
Let’s go!!! 🙌
One fight everyone knows the rules - Rampage Portnoy
They got the King of Curling up King of Talking Shit talking to Rampage.
no one ever talk about that not being just a "powerbomb"- it was also the biggest headbut of all time
That powerbomb proved pro wrestling is real
Tito is still my favorite coach on TUF.
Three goats 🐐🐐🐐
💯💯💯
Rampage “when I did that power bomb”Jackson
You can tell HJR is the rich guy in the room 😂 no knows this mf'er but he got 3 legends in the room with him
Mir is speaking straight facts.
That Rampage PRIDE powerbomb, I always felt like they collided heads.
It's nice to see tito out living his children
Frank is never going to change...
🐐
Oblique kick enters conversation after those words...
steroids enters the conversations after this response.
That actually should be banned. You can't tap out, or let go to escape it.
It has a counter though
i like how they tried saying rampage was in the wrong but bro was in the air for so long he could of let go at any time
Three of true innovators of the sport...Frank Mir you are the greatest....I would love to Train at your gym.
Any time!
Says the guy who wanna ban a kick because it worked like its suppose to but on him😂😂mir lowkey knew what he was saying at the end
3 grade A- BEEFCAKES... 😂😂😂😂
Delicious 🤤
these dudes are canary dogs pure viscality
Lord forbid Rampage tries to tell the fuckin story
All 3 of em are legends no cap
Love listening to these veteran fighters
They have all grown into men with perspective and wisdom
That powerbomb was straight nasty
Gracies made the world think that BJJ is the ultimate martial art. They even told Dan Severn that he couldn’t complete because wrestling is not a martial art.
I want a Chuck Liddell Tito Ortiz podcast, even if its just an episode
Done ✅
Three ledgends of MMA!
🐐🐐🐐
3 greats at the table! Historic moment in the fight game...
Frank mir is the reason we say “let me be frank” straight to point
Nope its was a saying way before him. Because of the people called Franks. Doubt he has been around since the 1300's.
When you're done.. pull his pants up.. Jesus Christ
@@elliottstevens7168😂😭
I don't think Tito knew the answer at all, until Mir started talking again.......and then he just acted like he remembered.
I'm happy to see Tito hanging with the fellas, he's often portrayed as the bad guy everyone hates
the horse shoe guy is 100% right
The petitioned because Rampage hit Arona with a HEADBUTT when they landed. Rampage is full of it. I was there
Machida let go when rampage tried to power bomb him lol
Frank spot on...ans rampage had an iconic moment ❤
Classic
I wish we could have a bunch of UFC vets as fight judges and/or refs
That guy did not let go lol
Frank is the shit.
Tito seems very happy
So that's why wrestlers usually say the jujitsu it's real until you stand up
I absolutely agree. The purpose is to not get slammed of get caught in a submission. They want a rule to favor them.
Listen to these men!! All three are goat status period!
Love Tito and rampage in these like fr they hilarious
The people at the at table wow. I have so much respect for them true bad asses.
🐐🐐🐐
What a podcast with three absolute legends of MMA.
Every time I hear Mir explain something, it makes sense. The guy knows his shit
Imagine Jackie Jr coming in thinking it was the card game!!!😂😂
Rampage looks like he ain't Frank Mir.
"Jiu jitsu is the best!" As long as the rules are molded to benefit the style in every way imaginable
Great coaching from Frank Mir! Awesome.
Rare semi-coherent Tito moment
Kevin nash enters the chat
When you show LOVE to the world, the world LOVES you back
Tito seem so calm away from Chael.
That's the longest I've heard tito talk without fkn up
A headbutt cut Arona on impact. Slam was sick , but there was a collision of heads on impact.
Mir is kinda like mike tyson. Honestly its so inspirational to see battle hardened warriors with their wits and minds so clear at a later age
Man is would love to sit at that table. Legends
