This is amazing and very beautiful. The A5 steak I don't think I could afford however I have to try it in my lifetime but the $37 steak looked out of this world. So tender and cooked to perfection. I just loved watching the chef cook like that. If I was a millionaire I would be dining there all the time I think. Japanese cookery is mesmerising:)
That "inexpensive" steak was looking already quite fantastic, like really high over-average marbling for what I consider an inexpensive steak. But then again, it is also twice more expensive to what I consider "inexpensive" haha.
the 132$ is actually a good value for the kind of service you get. The steak itself is not cheap, that is some high quality meat, then the (very skilled) chef takes care of you personally for a long time... This is expensive of course, you you aren't getting screwed! It's really worth that price!
Yeah the second steak had reaaaally good marbling. I don’t know the conversion rate but a steak like that here would probably cost 25-30$ while there it only prob costed like 5 dollars

most food outside the US is great, but Japan is incredible. Even fast food places like Coco Curry are far better than most restaurants in the US.

Theres some sort of caveman part of the brain that goes into a trance anytime youre watching meat being cooked. That sear on the $132 steak is the most gorgeous sear ive ever seen. Could still see all that insane marbling.
