    Hey mate, I just finished up cleaning the intake on my bt50 with some help from your little video series. Great job on the videos, you definitely eased my pain throughout the whole process. My ute has 185000 ks on it so it was a filthy mess inside and took quite a while to clean. I'm glad I knocked it over though, it's running better already. Again, great job, im sure lots of people will find this video as useful as I have.

    Informative video but spoilt by sound levels. Remember to match the sound level of your voice with the level of sounds added during edit. This avoids a shock for those listening through speakers.

      The music jingle is twice the dB level than the voice. I needed to increase volume level to hear the voice, then decrease the music how loud it was..geesh 😡

    Hello,
    Awesome video! I have a leak from the connection between the return pipe and the plastic pipe (where the 8 and 10 mil bolts are). Do you have any idea what could be causing this? It's spraying something black on the plastic cover next to it and that's how I found it. Thank you so much!

    • @TheInsightDistrict
      @TheInsightDistrict  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      the black stuff is more then likely unburnt exhaust gasses, the same as what is in the pipe. maybe check if there is suppose to be a O ring there and replace it if it is missing or broken. Otherwise check to see if the bolts are loose and tighten them up

      @@TheInsightDistrict Thank you so much! It is really hard to find any information and your videos are SO useful to all of us. I experienced another issue today, a gearbox icon with exclamation mark inside appeared on dashboard and the bakkie went into limp mode. Could this be related somehow?

    • @TheInsightDistrict
      @TheInsightDistrict  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HubGoblin it's hard to say without connecting up a computer to it and seeing what the fault code is, it could be a sensor or something else. Best to have a computer put on the car and go from there so you can get more accurate info

    Great video. I have the 2017 Ford Ranger 3.2 XLT DC 5 cylinder. The problem i have is the car goes into limp mode, how do I fix this problem.

    • @TheInsightDistrict
      @TheInsightDistrict  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      you would have to look at the fault code that sends it into limp mode

      i cant remember what the housing is made of, but should be one that wont damage that. something like brake cleaner might be able to do the trick

    Imagine what the actual intake manifold looks like on all these modern diesels. people did a class action lawsuit to Apple and Samsung for slowing down their mobile phones when the battery was cooked. Essentially keeping the phone operating instead of dropping offline…
    But people are driving these modern diesels around that are getting less efficient, less power, less responsive, worse fuel economy and increased wear on things like valves etc. but no one gives a shit.
