My Hyundai CRDI1.6 Turbo is at 178,000 KM's and NEVER had the inlet side show more than a light grey soot powder and beautiful clean inlet valves. Runs as sweet as a nut and pulls like freight train off the bottom. This engine uses port injection on start, low and low/medium revs and only goes to 100% DI at WOT.
