    Thanks for the video! Easy to follow and made the job easy. Had a bit of trouble getting the rubber hose off the body just needed a bit of prying with the screwdriver and all sorted.. Next on the list, EGR Valve and intake manifold.

      Glad you liked the video, I'm still fairly new to making videos so if you see something that I can improve on let me know, also if you think of any videos I could make to help others let me know, I'm not a mechanic, so I only make videos that are within my skillset which means anyone can do it. Hopefully I can film the the I take video in next week or two, I still have to go to work unfortunately so it limits my time to film, but will try my best to get it done.
      Once again glad you like like the video, share it in Facebook groups or anywhere else if you think it will help other people out 😊

  • @spinster4000

    Im thinking of doing this on my 06 ranger because my throttle is starting to actually stick. Like I'll step on it a bit to get it moving (its a manual) and the throttle will stick, so I give it a bit more juice and it goes down WAY to much putting me at 3-4k RPM, and I don't know if you've ever driven a manual before but you shouldn't be doing that to your poor clutch lol. So yeah, need to fix this. Pedal is free from carpet/matt hitting it and when pressing it with my handle shut off it is smooth, making me believe its the TB.

    The cleaning of the hose would baby bottle brush do that better.?

    • @TheInsightDistrict
      @TheInsightDistrict  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Possibly, but because it's oil based carbon, I don't think it would move it too well. I use a rag because it may absorb some of the wet carbon that's in the pipe

    Hey, thanks for the informative video's! Am following them step by step ALL of them :D I have a 2014 Ford Ranger and the TPS sensor reads 94% all the time. And visually checking it, its way open all the time. I have trouble figuring out if thats normal.. Would appreciate your opinion on that, im VERY limited with proper workshops here (live in Myanmar and have to do most porblem solving and repairs myself) thnx!

      you would have a higher fuel consumption and the vehicle wouldn't have as much power as it should due to the engine not receiving as much air as it should
