    Just bought the pattern to make as a wedding gift for my brother. What yarn did you use? I know it says to use any aran I'd like but I like the shade of white/cream you have and I don't see you mentioned it. Tnx!

      I am based in New Zealand. The yarn I used was purchased at Spotlight. This is the yarn. www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/4-seasons-spot-saver-usa-style Color was labeled as 80389139 White

    I have three more squares to crochet and then I will need to assemble them into the blanket. Do you know of a tutorial on TH-cam that shows exactly how you connected the squares? I want mine to look just like yours! Thank you 😊

      I think these are just sewn together with whip stitch, as I recall. You can find many videos online showing basic whip stitch sewing technique to join motifs together. I haven't created any video about it personally.

    CONGRATULATIONS 🌟🎉 ON YOUR UPCOMING ANNIVERSARY ‼‼This is a beautiful pattern. Sometimes I think classic patterns don't need to show off with colour. They stand out in simple whites or creams

    I don't understand why you wouldnt include the join method in this tutorial. Purchasing an expensive pattern only to be told "there's videos on youtube, look it up" is very discouraging. I'm pretty unhappy with it.

      What join method are you referring to? Magic knot? I'd need to rewatch the video to know what you mean.

      Oh, are you meaning a sewing technique like whip stitch? I did film a short video of myself doing that. You can see it on my Etsy page: hollanddesigns.etsy.com/listing/1405007380 It's just a common sewing technique and there would be many videos for it on TH-cam. I generally only demo things that are not commonly used or known.

    Hello. If I want a larger boarder, how do I do a round 4, 5, and 6? Thank you!

    • @hollanddesignscrochet
      @hollanddesignscrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

      The pattern is written as is. If you wish to work additional rounds for a border, you can do that however you'd like. If you want to repeat rnds 1-3 of the border, you can do that also.

    Sorry but I’m confused about how the pattern works out… row 5 ends with 80 stitches… row 6 then has a pattern that works with prior row in sets of 3 but the ending row count is 80 which isn’t a multiple of 3. So I’m not able to end my row with the 2 fphdc - instead I end up with an extra treble from the prior round. Also, your demo has an increase in row 7 but the instructions do not… I’d love some help here.

    • @hollanddesignscrochet
      @hollanddesignscrochet  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi - I wonder if you are misreading the pattern for round 6. Rnd 6 is sets of 4 stitches, not 3 stitches. The demo clearly shows rnd 6 as sets of 4 sts. The stitch count does indeed remain at 80 sts. There is no increase on rnd 7 in the pattern. The demo does not show any increases on rnd 7, so I am not sure what you are referring to.

    May I ask how detailed are the pattern instructions for this beautiful piece? Also, are there any instruction videos included with the purchase of the pattern? I would consider my level of crochet capabilities as above intermediate and can crochet just about anything with clear and concise instructions, but video tutorials are a plus at getting me up and running. I find it difficult to see exactly what you are doing because the footage is very small. I will try to view your tutorials on my laptop screen to see if it makes a difference.
    Your creations are lovely. Once I'm finished my other projects, I will purchase this patter, and I plan to purchase your modern Jacob's Ladder pattern on Friday. I'm so excited! I'm so happy to have come across your channel.
    One last thing, what is the crochet club?

    I bought your Bluss pattern yesterday and I've already started make it. I'm a little confused on your explanation of the xhdc. Would you be willing to make a stitch tutorial for it like you did for the fphdc? A visual of this would help me make better sense of it. Thanks for considering.

    So beautiful. Subscribed! Thank you!!!
    So just for clarification, how many do you chain to create a circle. What stitch in the first round and how many? Then you do 30 double crochet in the third round and so on.
    Please, I need the actual numbers so I don’t screw up your lovely pattern.
