The pattern is wonderful. Your tutorial is fantastic, with crystal clear detailing which is very useful for even new crocheters too. And the information of history is very very interesting. Enjoyed this tutorial very much. Thanks a lot!
I just purchased the pattern. It’s really pretty. I with give it a try. Looking forward to see what I can do! Thanks! I also just subscribed to your channel! 👍🧶🧶👍
This is beautiful, I purchased the pattern on Ravelry a few moments ago. I have been looking for new style granny squares, and this will go in my folder of patterns. I love the "magic knot", its actually called a clove hitch knot, and it does work like magic, I have had no problems with them coming loose.
I'm watching from Australia and I just found your channel and I loved it. I just subscribed to your channel and bought your modern jacobs ladder. It's an absolutely beautiful pattern. It's the first pattern I've ever bought. I looked at other patterns of jacobs ladder and yours was the best looking!!! I'm scared to try this pattern I don't know if I'm ready but it's so beautiful I will give it a try

All my patterns are written in standard American crochet terms. People generally tell me my patterns are easy to read. And the actual demo really helps too. This is a stunning afghan, thank you. Can I just advise some caution with the magic knot. I had a couple of instances where it came undone and thought it must have just been my technique, until I had a play around with it and discovered that if you wiggle the two ends really fast one way and then the other, on very many occasions it will come undone. My thinking is what would happen if item is washed in washing machine? Would my wiggling demonstration be a suitable replication of washing machine agitation? My suggestion would be to not cut the ends too close, as I think this would make a huge difference. It would be just devastating to have a project come undone. I will look for your pattern on Ravelry. Thank you for your video and inspiration.
If you search "join as you go" granny squares you'll find quite a few such videos on youtube. It's a really simple method, as explained in the pattern and I mention it at the end of my video.
Lovely pattern, though I feel like I've come in halfway through a conversation watching this, like I'm already supposed to know what's going on before it's happened. Is this a supplemental to something else?
Love the pattern, but the unjoined round 12 is throwing me off. My square is looking like a diamond with pinched in sides.😂 it looks fine until I do this round with sc on sides and dc corners
Why would you be doing dc corners on rnd 12? That's not what the pattern says to do. I'd suggest simply double checking the pattern so it is correct. That should solve your problem.
Maybe I am reading it wrong. Ch 1,SC in 1st corner (SC, ch 2, skip DC, SC) 11 times across side, 3 DC corner in next corner, continue in same manner around square, ending with 3 DC in last corner, ch 2, join with sl st to top of beginning ch 2. Fasten off.
@@stephanieharo2226 You must have an old version of the pattern which had a typo. I see you purchased it back in April. I will email you the updated copy which fixed that issue. Thanks for reaching out.
Just wonderful and exciting. Just purchased the pattern. Great design. Especially for crochet. Totally raising the bar!!!!!
Thank you! Enjoy!

It is beautiful, but I wish you had zone the demonstration in full screen.
Yes, I'm still learning :) Great tip. :)
Is the pattern a download or hard copy?

Just love this pattern. Could please say the color of your yarn. Thank you!!
Hi - I used Marvel 8ply acrylic yarn in colors sage and cream (available at Spotlight in New Zealand.)
Thank you hon!
Thanks!
I've had that knot come out.
Do you have a join as you go video for this pattern please?

@@hollanddesignscrochet Thank you
Is page 4 "unjoined" Rnd 12 correct on the pattern instructions? I worked it but it doesn't appear to be right. Thanks!
It does appear there is a typo there. I will fix it and send out the pattern update shortly. Thanks for letting me know!
Correction has been made and updates have been sent out to Ravelry & Etsy customers. Thanks again!

Yes, it is a stitch demo to accompany the actual written pattern. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/modern-jacobs-ladder-afghan
@hollanddesignscrochet ah ok that makes more sense 👌😊
Stone of Scone - rhymes with spoon.
You are probably right, but if I said it, I might sound like Mrs. Bucket :)
👍❣👍
Can you close up import screen so we can see you better please??
Will see if I can get that fixed asap...still learning :)
Très beau travail...dommage que le tuto soit en forme restreinte, ce qui manque en visibilité
Sorry, still learning the ins and outs of videos...will try to get that fixed asap.
Unfortunately
The zoom or because the video is a part of the screen, therefore it is not clear at all😭😭😭
Thanks for your comment. Yes, we're still learning our way around all these details. :)
