Very good videos on the Vanquish, thanks for making it as simple as possible. Explaining items slowly and individually is very helpful the whole family can take it in.

Some helpful info in your video specific to the Vanquish detectors. A little feedback though, take off your metal rings before you do a metal detecting video. Don't answer phone calls while you're shooting a video, and take the proper digging equipment for extracting things out of the ground. Most people want to get to the point in a video.

You should look at some learning videos on how to use metal detectors also read about digging tools. Using the knife will mark up or scratch up your item.

Great video's guy's i like my 540 pro i use it on the beach very quiet compared to the garett 400 i found gold ring and a couple shilling's other day on the other hand i would like you to answer more questions on your posts cheers

minelab vanquish 440 or 340 it will be able to discover 60-70cm depth of ancient treasure pot in teapot size full of silver or gold ?
And what mode should be set in order to dig gold and silver to a depth of 50-60 cm in the field or forest soil?

i use the 10" coil because i have a bad back and it's a 100 gms lighter than the 12" one.

The 10 is by far more sensitive and accurate than the 12 and has a bigger detecting surface than the 8.

When I first bought my 540 the first couple of times I turned it on it made that sound like yours when you turn it on, now it doesn't make that sound, any idea why?

Tim Battye if it has been paired with headphones the blue tooth knocks it off, turn off the blue tooth and the sound comes back

Great vid Mate. I am looking to buy my first metal detector that I want to use for gold prospecting and treasure hunting. I have the opportunity to buy an X-Terra 705 for $169 or a Vanquish 440 for $349 here locally. What are your thoughts on that for a first detector?

I'm confused about the rebar situation. You said it doesn't react well to rebar, & that rebar will cause minelabs to falsely call out $1 and, $2 coins, but then you demonstrate tracing along the sidewalk to find what other detectorists have missed, which in your demo included $1 & $2 coins. I don't get it. What am I missing here?
