What I would like to see is the 340 follow the 540 when the 540 gets a signal and see if the 340 sees it too, this only proves the 540 swept over more targets.

You should let your viewers hear the tones of the machine all the time. After all, the most important part of learning the machine (especially with the Vanquish and the Simplex) is the tones - the VDI is just there to help. Too much swinging without any sound in this vid. What's the point of showing your machine swinging without any sound?
I appreciate that this vid wasn't promoted as a learning vid for the machine but it all just seemed a bit aimless - where was the comparison between the two machines? The title says one versus the other (suggesting some kind of comparison) - this was just two blokes on the beach with two different models and swapping after a while.
Enjoyable vid nonetheless just watching the scoop technique.

how does the minelab vanq 340 perform on wet sand. do you need to turn down sensitivity much ?
It works the same as the Equinox, have your sensitivity as high as is stable generally about 3/4.
would really have liked to hear the tones and seen the numbers. I am still learning how to understand the readings. and why didn't you compare the two machines?

is there any pinpointer you’d recommend pairing with a vanquish mate ?
they dont pair with bluetooth if thats what you meant?
paul cee no mate i meant like what would work well with it e.g should i get a garret one or what type of pinpointer would compliment and pair up best with this detector
In clean ground I use the Garrett carrot, in dirty ground I use the Mind lab Pro find 35. I also use the Vanquish 340 and 540 depending on circumstances
that guy @9:59 is what we refer to over here as a "KnockOut Hunter".......but they have amazing success hitting big rings and strong surface targets........nice comparison ...... see you soon -

I would think both get same depth. Like the ace series just less features
Nope, nothing like the Ace series. Vanquish are far superior in overall detecting due to multi frequency and better target separation and quicker recovery rate. Makes the Aces look like toys. Ace are highly overrated and always have been. The bing bong bing bong bing bong get on one’s nerves after a short while.
