I initially bought the large borough and was surprised as it was too big (kinda ideal for touring). I’ve since exchanged it for the medium borough in olive and perfect for everyday use + food shopping, also matches my orange bromy 🍊

I've bought & sold quite a few Brompton bags over the past 3 or 4 years but have never found the perfect one, I've had this one for about a year & I think it's a keeper, just right for me. Really good informative videos, but being a sad old bloke I have to say the very nice presenter makes the content even better - sorry!

The same is btw for the "Brompton Borough Waterproof Bag S" - it lacks some features of the bigger version. But: It is super compact and I'm not missing the features.

I bought this bag and it's pretty nice-looking. It's a little small for an EDC, but on the other hand doesn't weigh down the bike. I'm using the flat back pocket for the rain cover, and plan to carry my essentials (phone, airpods, train pass, wallet) in a small sling for easy access, which will hopefully make this arrangement work better. In retrospect, I should have chosen something with more quick-access options, either a different style or the larger version; it's weird that more exterior pockets were not included. However, it's probably better to have those things on me rather than on the bike anyway.
This is a great bag, I just wish the length of the strap and clasp that goes over the roll top was longer, I feel like i could fit a lot more into the roll top, but the top can't be secured properly due to the short strap.
You could get (or make) an extender -- maybe 16" of 1" webbing, with a male buckle on one end and female on the other.
It's been too long since The Metro Pouch Channel has posted a video about a metro pouch, haha (will happily watch videos about both)

I would like to ask, if the 14L capacity is with the rolltop loaded to the full extent, or is there some extra space because of the rolltop design? So is it "~10L+4L rolltop" or is it "14L+? rolltop"?
And also, where can I find one used? Also, if you by any chance know where can I find one besides ebay or facebook marketplace?

Many thanks for the excellent videos. Could you cover options for new ‘handlebar’ grips for the P style bars please? The foam on mine has disintegrated. Ironically the foam was very useful as a would be thief left his blood and hence DNA in the foam, so I would welcome a practical change to erase the memory!

Does the large bag include extra bags like the medium?
When you put your things into the bag, the camera approached it with caution ,I expect he (who is camera shy!) was expecting some thing to jump out at him!! Keep em coming and STAY SAFE!!. Question, are we going to have 12 months of out takes for Christmas?

It’s a different choice! The shoes can be big! We also like the two waterproof bags.
Just thinking I used to commute with mores or less this amount of stuff. I think I would go for the metro large waterproof bag as it’s smart and waterproof!

🤔 I’m slowly trying to figure out what I can and can’t do with my Brompton and I wonder what Bag would u recommend as a first bag purchase. ( primarily for buying groceries)

Yes, we keep hoping that Brompton will come up with one. We have known people to purchase a frame to make their own.
Brompton has not considered it's customers wanting to go shopping on the electric Brompton
this is the only solution so far
Personally I find most Brompton bags dour if not ugly. Add astronomical pricing and you know why folks are shifting to other options.
