To people who dont know, a danish player was struck by lightning (actually on the stadium of my hometown) - Kasper Hjulmand was coaching that game. Jonathan Richter survived but lost movement in his legs and therefor his career. Thats why you saw this kind of reaction. Much respect to the danish squad.
@@MoodyBluesRequiem80 Well happily for him he didn’t die, but it destroyed any sense of becoming a great player ever again after he got hit by lighting and lost a part of his leg. Name (Jonathan Richter)

Dont forget that he had to get some of one of his legs amputated because of it and that the danish coach was also the coach of that player in that exact game it happened
They had to yell at him for several minutes to stop the game, when it says in the regulations that he should have stopped it at the first sign of danger. He did the right thing but way too late. In Denmark we've had more than one incident where football players have been struck by lightning during a match/training. It is no joke, he should've stopped the game way before.
Нет, игру вообще не следовало останавливать. На этом крупном стадионе вероятность попадания молнии в поле почти равна нулю из-за объектов, которые являются громоотводами.
there was also a Danish player in 2009 struck by lightning, the Danish coach was the coach at that game and the player that was hit lost part of his leg
For those who dont understand why all of them wants to stop, is because if the lightning strikes the pitch the whole grass gets electrocuted so if anybody is standing on it, they will get striked
@@quenking2241 Maybe that plays a part, but lightning strikes are just dangerous. Richter isn't the only one that was struck by lightning, it's policy to stop games during dangerous conditions, Eriksen having a pacemaker means even bigger danger for him but soccer fields are just dangerous during thunderstorms.
@@MusialasrighttoenailThey dissalowed two german goals. The first was because of a foul before the goal and the other was in the last half when Denmark had slowly given up. So you can’t really compare though
