    So to get fuel pump to turn on you wired the fuel pump wire to interia switch and then wired the fuel pump relay to the inertia switch as well? pink with black strip or orange and lite blue strip?

    I have a 89 Ranger with a V6 in it and I'm thinking of putting a 302 V8 in it and was wondering if the frame mounts for the v6 will work or do I have to change them and any other tips you could share with me
    THANK YOU SO MUCH.

      We swapped to 4.0 V6 Ranger motor mounts and used the Rickz Rangerz adapter plates on the engine. Worked out slick!

    Also with your external slave cylinder so close to your header collector r u worried of it boiling over the hydraulic fluid?

    • @puzzlefox5.076
      @puzzlefox5.076  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ll have to double-check that.

      @@puzzlefox5.076 I say that because I have same setup on my 87 ranger.i used hp heat shield on my collector to prevent that.so far it works great.they sell it in different thicknesses.hope this helps

      A lot of looking at wiring schematics for the Ranger and for the Mustang. And a bunch of troubleshooting.

    How did y’all get the speedometer to work

    • @puzzlefox5.076
      @puzzlefox5.076  ปีที่แล้ว

      We just plugged the original Ranger speedo cable into the T5. It snapped right in. We think it is a ways off of being correct and probably just needs a different speedo gear...we just haven't looked into it any further.

    Could this be done on this truck if it had AC?

    • @puzzlefox5.076
      @puzzlefox5.076  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure, as this truck doesn’t have AC. I’ve heard that it can’t be done, but also thought I’ve heard of people doing it. My thought is that it would be very difficult, as the HVAC box on the front of the firewall is much larger than just having a heater box like this truck has. My thought is...if there is a will, there’s a way.

      Sorry. thought you were asking about my Mustang. It was a "standard Chevy" radiator. I think we got it from Jegs or Summit. I'd have to look back or talk to my son to see exactly what it was.

      @puzzlefox5.076  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey, buddy...I was doing more thinking about the radiator...and I didn't want to steer you wrong. I'm pretty confident it is a radiator for an Explorer or Ranger with a 4.0 V6. My son remembers he got it from Advanced Auto.
