    Here’s what I see at the screen shot: $8 for 11 mins pick up 9 mins ride. 11 mins is probably closer to 15 (we all know Lyft lie about the time) + 2 or 3 mins until mr customer get his ass into the car then another 9 mins which is probably 12 mins ride. So pretty much $8 for 30 mins of your time. Which turn into $16 per hour. Which is barely minimum wage in SF. After gas and expenses you’re way under minimum wage

      Shit I do $50/60 an hour during slow times in Milwaukee on the weekends. The only noticeable difference with priority mode is that it seems to give you requests more often. Otherwise there's really no discernible difference

    Priority mode has been a thing for a very long time. But you get less pay from the rides.

      Priority Mode is new for the San Francisco area. I've been receiving rides that seems to be average or above average with Priority Mode so far.

    They took that out of my market.
    I only ever used it when I was on a streak and needed to close the gap.
    It vanished without a word tho. I genuinely forgot about it until this video popped in my recommended

      It became available in San francisco recently. Just 1 hour north of San Francisco I noticed it wasn't available in that area.

    Congratulations to Lyft.👏🏿. That priority mode only shows them how many desperate drivers are willing to accept rides for the lowest pay. And when more of u drivers keep sacrificing your money 💰, this priority mode will go away an this will be the norm..💯🤔..

      @SFioniqDriver  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      From my experience it seems to be paying the same if not more. In one of my days working priority mode I received the next day I received a $5 compensation because it said I should have made $5 more as compensation

      @SFioniqDriver They gave u a whole 5 dollars extra...lol..even funnier😆..They take 60 to 80% of the ride but they gave u 5 bucks back..THIS IS THE REASON THEY KEEP REDUCING DRIVERS PAY...ITS LIKE SHOOTING FISH IN THE BARREL..💯

      @wearingmaurice I believe I'm compensated well if you watch my weekly earnings. Overall, we are limited in earning more in California due to prop22 minimum earnings guarantee.

      @SFioniqDriver I'm happy for u...U must be a newer driver?? 👍🏿 Next time ur on a ride ask ur passenger how much they paid for the ride against how much they are paying u...🤔..90% of drivers aren't happy and are striking against the low pay. From the sounds of it u are happy just being paid the minimum wage..U must be single to and living with roommates or family? it's sad these companies are stealing ur 💰 and u don't even care...smdh...U can come work me anytime?? I'll pay u the minimum, work ur as 80hrs a week no OT, and keep telling u what a good job ur doing...👍🏿

      @@wearingmaurice I average in the 40's to 50s per hour even with the CA Prop 22. These companies will pay the lowest they can until changes in the US from Federal Laws or State interventions create minimum wages. In the European Union there are new labor laws that Uber must follow which is more than what we are getting here in California. Uber had 5 million drivers as of last year and has recently announced there are now 6.5 million drivers. These companies can set rates that they want in the absence of government mandates. For me, I never ask my passengers how much they paid as it's none of my business. I can choose to accept or decline what comes my way.

    Drivers, Door Dash, Uber, Lyft or any Gig app should stop talking about paying/getting hourly pay; unless the vehicle is provided by a Gig app & gas/petrol, maintenance, insurance, etc etc is paid by Uber, Door Dash, Lyft, Roadie etc etc only. So stop bringing the hourly wage to conversation when the vehicle is by an independent contractor. The vehicle should be compensated seperately & the driver should be compensated seperately.
    Gig apps should pay the independent contractor (the driver) $1.70 per mile for the vehicle (or 1 Euro per Km) & at least $0.55 cents (Euros) PER MINUTE for driver's effort. And those rates should run like a stopwatch on the phones on every second & miles driven, separately like a old taxy cab meter.
    Obviously for drivers of New York, California, Boston the rates I suggested should be higher. E.g. per mile $1.90 & per minute $0.80 at least in this inflation, because it's not 2016 now everywhere else other than for Gig workers.

    • @SFioniqDriver
      @SFioniqDriver  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My issue with that trip is that it's more than a 5 minute drive to the rider. I'll start driving towards the rider and I'll get reassigned or the rider will cancel.
