For the first time, an all-electric vehicle, specifically the Tesla Model Y, is now the best-selling car in the world, just three years after its launch.
CEO Elon Musk has said on multiple occasions that Tesla's lead over other automakers will come primarily from its manufacturing edge. Tesla can build a Model Y in Giga Shanghai from the first station to the final assembly with "Tesla Speed" in just 2 and a half hours, which is 14 times faster than the average time of 35 hours per vehicle.
It is super impressive.
Tesla aims to increase output at Giga Shanghai to 20,000 EVs per week, which could produce around 80,000 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles per month, or over 1 million units globally for domestic and global consumption.
This has proven that the Tesla Model Y will increase in both quantity and quality with the launch of the forthcoming 2024 iteration, exhibiting notable advancements over its 2023 predecessor.

Very misleading title
I am very confused. This video clearly says the 2024 Model Y LR (Juniper) with improved battery gives 400 mi range versus the 2023 330 mi although the battery capacity is rated similarly as 82 kWh. Where did you get the information on 620 mile range? Very confused.

First, I think I will wait until the new Model comes out in late 2024. I will see what my options are on the prices and all. And I really do like that sportier look to that Teesie as well. Another thing that I love is the interior! It looks so lux and that's what I'm here for, honestly. I see that one has the stalks back in, so this might be the perfect car for me!

Hoping in 2024, the Model Y will have a discrete GPU (Model S, Model X) instead of a Ryzen APU to play STEAM Games on as well as an added instrument cluster. #1 item on the list is for an improved infotainment system. Besides HW4, which has improved cameras and a more powerful APU for hopefully, improved Autonomous driving. Awaiting full confirmation about this on project Juniper after project Highland is successfully completed.

Hope 2024 and beyond has better tight ride and suspension besides the usual battery upgrade. Don't forget to put couple more buttons on the steering wheel for wipers and other controls ,it's dangerous to look at the screen searching for the wiper speeds in our rainy Northwest American continent
You dont need to do that...hit the wiper button on the stalk and then the menu will pop up and u select the speed

The 2024 Juniper is currently being produced for a planned release. And all of the data in this episode is supported by affirmations from Musk and Tesla regarding this endeavor. Tesla will soon make a formal announcement to you on their official website.

I still don’t like the dash board it looks like my golf cart with out the monitor. They got to put some kind of visual indicator behind the steering wheel. The x and the s models looks, feels like a care instead of a golf cart

I have a 2018 Model 3, Good car but difficult to egress, I have been thinking of a Y for some time & almost bought one recently. I will definitely be purchasing a 2024 LR. I had heard that there is to be a feature, by flashing light in door frame, when a car is overtaking you & is in your blind spot. Wife has that in her Lincoln which is a great feature. I was hoping that the 2024 Y would be out sooner than Oct/ Nov now that the New 3 is to be out first of 2024. This was a great video & very informative!

What are the safety precautions
The Model Y comes loaded with safety in conjunction with its popular Autopilot feature. The Performance and Long Range versions come standard with dual front side-mounted airbags, front/rear head airbags, traction control, stability control, blind spot warning, and a pre-collision safety system.
Tesla cars with Autopilot turned on are much safer than cars driven by people.

Here is the problem with electric vehicles charging times because a motor vehicles pump gas time is around 3-5 min so when we can get a electric vehicle to fully charge in 5-10 minutes at this point it will worth buying an electric vehicle !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only way people on a start buying the 2024 model why if that it comes complete with full self-driving. Unless you want to pay 10 to $15,000 extra for it which will bring the price somewhere between $90,000 to $95,000. Which also means that if you win a billion dollars in the lottery you have enough money to buy a new Tesla and pay for full self-driving all at once!
you know, when you buy the top-end Model Y Performance which costs just over $54,000 and adds up to $15,000 for add-on applications, a top Performance will cost you less than $70,000 or the Dual Motor version all the way to $62740. So why don't we use more apps to make driving more convenient?
