While I was reading some of the comments- I found them border rude. You have every right to change your mind and your clothes. I personally find that what I loved and was wearing 5 years ago didn't serve me well, so I changed it. That is the beauty of fashion. I find your transformation lovely . You look perfectly happy - as you should 😊
Thank you so much for your understanding and supportive words! It's truly heartening to read comments like yours. Fashion, indeed, is a beautiful journey of self-expression and transformation. Like you, I've found that my style and preferences have evolved. It's a reflection of personal growth and changing perspectives. I'm glad you've embraced such changes in your own life as well. Your encouragement means a lot, especially in acknowledging the happiness that comes with being true to oneself. Let's continue to celebrate our individual journeys and the exciting evolution of our styles! 💖👗🌟
I like the simplicity of Eileen Fisher designs. And I think youve done a good jo with outfits but i could not wear so much black and white and olive for tops! Id miss red, variety of blues and greens and some blush pinks and lavender and purple. I use capsule ideas for vacations and short trip so they are good to know. Thanks!
You can still include lots of color in your capsule wardrobe. I just paired it back so that others could try it, and it is what I wanted to wear this season.
Hey Nancy 🤩 when I wstch d your first video on setting up Your 333 wardrobe I was so annoyed that you went out and bought a “capsule“ wardrobe 😬 I wasn’t a follower beforehand… now I do understand what you did and how well it works 😊 thank you ☺️ so helpful for those of us who want to consume less😘 the colours you have are so me and beautiful, polished and smart. So fascinating to see how little we really need and wear.🙏🏼
Hi Jenni, I'm so glad you discovered me! Yes, we really don't need as much as we think for a functional wardrobe. I'll be showing another update to my capsule when I transition from summer to fall, so keep an eye out for it! 💕
Brava Nancy! I admire you and Project 333. I must say, the outfits you do not wear, are my favorites on you! No matter what you wear, you look great. I have a version of this I do myself, in the fall. I have several J Crew cashmere pullover sweater, in Black, gray, camel, navy and green. These I wear with either Talbots cords, (winter white, brown, and tan or jeans dark blue and a bit lighter wash). I also wear LP Corso pants in Navy, black and dark green with white tees, 2 LP Tennison jackets, navy & black. I also have 2 Patagonia down jackets in black and red. I agree with you when you say you want to put on one outfit for the day. These all work for my climate and lifestyle. My biggest issue with "pull on" pants, like the Corsos, is that it's too easy for me to put on weight. The jeans and Talbots cords keep me in check. When these get a bit snug, I back off on my portions and "trouble" foods. Thank you for being an inspiration to me.
Thanks, Buffy, for all your thoughtful insights! I love hearing what outfits work for you and how well you mix and match brands while still keeping true to your style. 🤩
Ignore those complaining regarding your about face using neutrals rather than bright colours - I am loving the new direction! I get tired of bright colours in the core pieces, for me those are for accents or accessories. Much more versatile with longevity and we see YOU rather than the clothes first. Just my opinion :)
Thanks so much for your kind words, Laurel! It was a big decision when I chose this wardrobe. I have been really enjoying it, so stay tuned for how I change it up for upcoming seasons! 🥰
I totally agree. Sure, brights are nice, but a core of neutrals is timeless. And classic. Also, often more attainable (budget conscious) for many of us. Colour trends seem to change often, but neutrals stay with you.
“Joggers & tshirts” is one reason I watch your show. I watch shows where they model outfits on super skinny models which I haven’t been in 30 years. After a lifetime of wearing uniforms to work and jeans and tshirts/sweatshirt in my off time it’s hard to have to think about what I wear. I’m 72 and gradually transitioning my wardrobe to a more age and body shape appropriate clothes. Comfort is first thing I go for. Thanks for your realistic ideas.
Nancy I’m really enjoying this! I started adding neutrals to a very colorful/ pattern filled wardrobe this fall. Most of the time when I put them on, I feel very put together. I don’t feel I look the best in black, but I look pretty good in camels and taupes. Please consider doing neutral capsules for spring and summer. I’m on a wt loss journey and am hoping to need new clothes by spring time. This 33 piece project would make my pocketbook happy! Not to mention my closet!
Hi Kim, I actually love this capsule wardrobe, so I do plan on continuing it and showing you how I'm changing it up for each season is part of my plan. I wish you the best in your weight loss journey, and I KNOW you're gonna need new clothes! 🤩
I tried the black and beige thing and it was easy but I miss the bright colors on you. They just suited your personality more. Nothing lifts my mood as much as a bright Lilly shift.
Neutral colors in fall and winter are great, of course. The negative comments could be related to your neutrals pulled from the “winter” color palette, when you are more likely a “summer”. Those neutrals might look less drab next to your complexion.
Thanks so much for your insights. I understand it must be a shocking change for many people. I doubt I'll be wearing so many dark colors in the spring/summer, but I've really been enjoying it this far. 💕
I unknowingly did 333 for 4 years in the 1970s when I was in college. 3 pairs of jeans, 3 pairs of slacks, 3 jackets, a winter coat, 3 dresses and about 8 shirts. Just because it never occurred to me that I needed lots of clothes. My entire closet was smaller than your capsule rack!
PS This is a dramatic change from the bright colors and prints but I really prefer these myself. I also think they work much better when traveling and especially when going to a foreign country. I always feel that Europeans wear darker, solids and neutrals and I would not feel comfortable wearing a bold pastel LP wardrobe especially in those circumstances. Just my own preference but I like the change in your style.
Thanks so much for your kind words. I love this capsule wardrobe, and I'll keep you updated on how it changes throughout the year. I completely agree that the wardrobe is more suitable for travel, especially to foreign countries. 🤩
Great video on the capsule concept. This has been a concept for many years, but few people have known how to build/use one. Wonderful ideas and explanations for practicing this concept. Happy Holidays!
WOW! That's wonderful that Project 333 is working so well for you. I'm just surprised that you've switched from all the color to black, white, gray, and green neutrals.
The neutral colors really spoke to me this season. I thought I'd tire of them, but I've really enjoyed this capsule. Stay tuned because I'll be changing it up for every season! 💕
This was interesting. I’m surprised that there were pieces you didn’t wear. I would be bored and don’t think I can handle it. I need a choice of different things to wear. I’m sure it’s a lot easier. Maybe I will try it after the Holidays. The first of the year.
I am really drawn to Eileen Fisher but I don't own much from her. This was interesting to see because I tend to put her pieces with more organic looking or minimalist bags and accessories like Allsaints, Rag & Bone or Frame. I would never have gone to the Tory Burch bag and shoes thinking they are too "traditional" or structured looking and would not work as well. Very interesting to see your choices!
Yay! Great Video. I was just wondering how that capsule wardrobe was working out for you. Lots of great outfits. I just subscribed and I will be looking forward to your upcoming livestream😊
Thanks so much, Heather! I hope you liked the update and the livestream. I can't wait to keep you updated on my capsule wardrobe throughout the year! 😍
Hi I loved you in the black leggings outfits it really slimmed you down and looked great on you. You have inspired me to do a capsule wardrobe also but about 40 pieces total will be great for me .This will include work and casual outfits, I don't want so much clothes anymore as I can never figure out what to wear,,decision overload 😅
Thanks so much for asking! 🥰I started this capsule wardrobe last fall, then created this video on how it's going...after that, my life took a huge turn. I flew from CA to PA to care for my father in hospice, wore this capsule wardrobe the entire time, and then decided with my family to move to PA. Here's a video updating what was going on in my life: th-cam.com/video/Q76ReM1k6eA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5pLGwhA55bS3UoIq Once we settled in, I created a spring/summer capsule wardrobe, and you can find that video here: th-cam.com/video/dJZnDtj8TZ0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=orDUnvad7zpveZYA In addition, I have another video coming out soon about my current capsule wardrobe for fall.

Good thought! The J.Jill Wearever Collection almost instantly creates a capsule concept. The tops, pants, skirts, and dresses are the same fabric and color families; many times you could grab any of them blindfolded and look "put-together"! Now retired; but when teaching, volunteering, traveling -nearly everywhere these items were great. They pack well, never wrinkle, and are very simply designed. Hope this helps! Happy Holidays and peace to you. PS Talbots has been my most go-to store for many many decades.
Please go back to the colored clothes, you have a beautiful wardrobe. The content on your channel was different and that was what i loved. I used proyec 333 for three years and I got bored. The color palette you used to use provides freshness, joy and youth. Thank you
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed my colorful wardrobe! I changed things up for the fall, and I've really been enjoying it. I'll make changes for all of the seasons this year, and I can't wait to keep you updated on all of it! 😍
Nancy, Nancy, Nancy! I’m feeling like you’ve lost your mind! I’ve watched all your videos and heard your advice to not wear so much black, round = pounds, we need color at our age, cropped leg is not flattering etc, and now it’s like a totally different person😳
Hi Sandy! It's still me! I've really been enjoying switching things up to a muted wardrobe for fall. I'll be back with more color for upcoming seasons!🥰
It's just so shocking to see you in these neutrals and not your usual colorful wardrobe. I love neutrals for myself and I don't do a lot of prints but I do hope your Lily Pulitzer clothes come back they seemed to match your personality. Well, further in you addressed the color issue :)

You look good in neutrals. It’s a youthful look on you. I like this look better than Lilly Pulitzer which I find too colorful and busy.

Thanks for keeping an open mind on the concept, Pamela! I'm looking forward to hearing if you give it a try in 2024! 🤩
You look cute and cozy😊
Thank so much, Michelle! I feel cute and cozy! 🥰
I like doing a capsule wardrobe for each month. Weather changes, holidays, etc. I can do that 😂

What happened to all of your Lilly Pulitzer clothes? This capsule looks so different.
She answered this at 9:11, 15:10 and 19:43 (reflecting personal style).
You are so charming and adorable! I love your style.
Thank you so much, Gina! That made my day! 🥰

I missed why you're doing this. Is this in style? The long shirt? I want my color. I finding the dark winter colors boring.
Just elegant!

They are from Tory Burch: rstyle.me/+z9bv0dDPkGq7Rs1X-7lngg
I miss the bright LP prints you wear so well!
Thanks so much! Color will be back; I just toned things back for fall 🥰

Are the knit pants Eileen Fisher
All of the pants except the jeans are Eileen Fisher. There are links to all of them in the video description. 😍
Sorry, but the high neck on the top over the white shirt is so unflattering
You should dress with colors that make you feel good so disregard naysayers.
