    Hi Nancy. I am a 69 year old woman with Parkinson’s and have strived to find a fashionable wardrobe despite the limitations of mobility. I find a number of the items you have shown us work well for me. The Lilly items in particular have lots of stretch and are easy to get in and out of, especially for people with tremors, etc. I would like your permission to include your channel in my blog which addresses all types of issues relating to people with chronic health problems and the need to stay positive. By the way, I am wearing one of my new outfits that you recommended for a transitional outfit (from Lilly) and it feels great! Thanks so much. Nanci Rice

      Absolutely, you have my full permission to include my channel in your blog. Living in a warmer climate it is always tricky to make the transition because one day it is summer the next fall and even winter later at night. Transition pieces are a must have-scarves, light sweaters, are my go to. A scarf that has a fall pattern which includes more summery colors-hard to find, but the best when you do-is perfect for this time of year.

    Layering is used for the weather. Be warm and comfortable or more thin and fashionable? That said, I often use three layers plus a jacket or coat.

    Thanks for a great video! I’m currently transitioning my wardrobe from spring/summer to fall/winter but I live in Central Texas. Sometimes I have to use the lightweight fabrics in fall prints and colors because we are slow to cool down. It’s in low 90’s this coming week.

    What I am wearing now are my thinnest summer dresses and sitting under the fan. Our temperatures are now in the 20c instead of the 30c where I live but in the high 30c in other places. My dream, weather.

    For warmth, I suggest swapping out 1 heavy layer for a silk base layer. As super thin as silk is, it's extremely warm but wicks away sweat. You'll have a slimmer profile. I usually opt for scoop neck to go underneath a wider variety of tops. They're expensive, but worth every penny. I also wear them underneath my shirts in the summer while I'm in the freezing office.

    Thank you for the very thoughtful tips! I especially like your advice on hat hair! Coming winter I will definitely put some dry shampoo in my handbag! I might even line my hat with silk. You are so right it will protect the hair and in addition make the hat feel nicer.

    I’m going to m grandson’s soccer game tomorrow evening. And it has been cooling down here the last few days. So I’m going to wear a t shirt and a button down shirt on top. I have a coral quilted jacket. I won’t be wearing it yet. But probably soon if the cool air stays. I was looking at some quilted jackets to buy. But I found one I already had in my closet.

    I live in Minnesota and fall weather is here. We are wearing our fall sweaters already.
    I noticed that you are wearing bright pink. Do you wear pink in the fall? Is it because you are still experiencing warmer weather in southern California? Do you wear pink year round because you like it? I think of pink as a spring and summer color. Is it a fall color? Thanks

    • @shoppingonchampagne
      @shoppingonchampagne  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Jane, I do love all the fall layers, and it's one of the things I miss living in SoCal. Since our weather is so mild, I still wear pink in fall, but it's usually a more saturated shade to look good with navy, black, or denim. This is actually a great topic for another video! 😍

    My go-to " three piece wardrobe when it cools down enough, but not quite cold enough for a winter coat yet " consists of a crewneck T-shirt/thermal top as a base layer and then I'll wear a lightweight poloneck ( turtleneck ) with either a crewneck or V-neck sweater over it for a bit more warmth.
    If the day heats up, I simply remove the outer sweater and tie it around my waist or shoulders.
