I started using this concept of keeping only 3 months at the time of my wardrobe because of the frustration of picking out clothes to wear. I had a mild brain injury in 2018 and this was part of helping me not get out of focus or frustrated with too many clothes at a time. It works well for me. I do find as I get older I pick out many more solid colors than patterned clothes although I wear more patterned clothes like dresses in the Summer. I actually do my shoes like this too with only 3 months at the time.
I have used this idea of having my summer wardrobe accessible to try and keep my mind from being blown every morning when I'm getting dressed, cos there's too much, and I'm overwhelmed. It's helped a lot. Thank you for your video.

I’m loving your neutral basic wardrobe! I’ve been working towards this and it’s been a game changer for me. I still have my over flow clothes in my closet but have been losing wt and as I move out of my larger sizes, I SWEAR I’m going to go into this 100%. I need all the guidance you can give to keep me focused. I still get seduced by the special one and done items. Things you wear once and everyone would remember.

The ONE smartest thing I did was re-organizing my closet, putting all my tops and blouses in order, according to color. Same with jeans and trousers, sweaters, and shoes. Now I can look into my closet and decide quickly. Thanks!

I had the same kind of wardrobe living in the Midwest. But I moved south. So there are some short sleeve shirts I can wear under things. So I have a lot in my closet at one time. I declutter my closet every few months. Because I still have too much. But I’m getting there.
I have a friend whose closet and storage room who never wears her clothes she dresses in her old frumpy clothes if I have anywhere to go I will then wear my hood clothes. She stays home a lot I haven’t seen her for 3 weeks every time I see her she’s always wearing the same sweat pants and same shirt she complains she can’t find anything so she told me she ends up wearing the same stuff and she’s board she said she wants to keep her clothes brand new that’s why I don’t wear them. I know when to wear my casual clothes, work clothes and I’m also learning I can wear my awesome outfits at home plus I like to wear my lounge wear too.
I like my leggings, my sweater dresses, casual wear hoodie, blazers vests and every Color of Jeans I can think of. I love my shoes, purses I love colorBeige, my favourite color is navey blue and red.
