    My hat goes off to the 200 for toting a trailer on the Rubi. Not small feat! Great effort!

      you would think if they have the money to take a 200 series on the rubicon they could afford lockers....

    Lots of work getting that trailer through props to him for sticking with it, very nice 200 as well. I see many more family adventures in its future. Trail Taylor will get you setup on the rear. I have a TT equipped 200 as well.

    Having run the Rubicon twice it does not seem to be as challenging as it was back in the 80's. From the video's I have watched in the past few years it looks like a lot of big boulders have been moved around. Glad your having fun in the Zuki, now your a true Samurai Warrior with the manual trans badge of honor. Takes super low gearing and lockers to run trails like this without tearing things up. Good skid plates and body armor sure help as well. ROCK ON Ken! Thanks for taking us along.

    At beginning I'm thinking he's got balls out there on factory reaer bumper. I cought my door in the same type scenario before my sliders were installed. I had the sliders built out to my tire track width wich is super wide. Sliders and tire offset keeps my body panels off the taril walls.

    Having experienced first hand the crawling ability of the Samurai, do you have plans on installing marlin crawlers on your FJ?

  • @PeteHemdem

    The key to 4-wheeling with a manual transmission is to keep crawling.

    • @PeteHemdem
      @PeteHemdem 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@offroadhub.official Yeah, I was a bit shocked when you said it had a 1.3L! If you do stall with a standard transmission in a funny spot, hit the clutch override button, take your foot off the cloth pedal and turn the key. It'll start without rollback. If you have an override button, that is!
      That Samuri looks like quite the buckboard. But it's very capable.
