The only thing that bugs me about them losing to freiza is that they can get immensely stronger from near death experience and they are always battling getting near death and healing. I feel like if the saiyan elites had even a quarter of goku and vegetas talents they would have eventually rose to friezas level in secret and been able to stop him with some elite squad. I guess freiza just made sure to kill and that started getting too strong too quickly
Yes and no. In theory you are absolutly right. But in "reality" it does not work like that. Because Saiyans are strong from the get go, they dont need to train. And they dont really have fights that end with a near death exp. They either get killed or they kill. Just think for a second. Elite Saiyans have a Power level of around what? 10k-20K? That is enough to blow up planets. And they can change into their monkey forms with 10× multiplicator if I am not wrong. That would mean a power level of 100k-200k. In the whole universe there is only a handfull of people strong enough to compete with that. Freeza, Beerus/Whis, Majin Boo, Dabora, Gus. Maybe Genyu Force and Nail. And the universe is gigantic. The probability to meet any of them beside Freeza is near zero.

If we assume that there was a minimum population of 1 billion sayians, which is possible as the regular human population is about 7.5 billion and they have a very similar reproduction cycle and have more advance technology than humans. But back to what I was saying if the population is atleast 1 billion and there power levels range from 2k - 10k that would mean if they all went oozaru they would have a fighting force power level equal to about 2trillion to 10trillion, if they all rush frezia even at his max power level of 144million at the end of his fight with Goku he wouldn’t have the stamina to beat all of them. That sounds like a possibility at first but frieza in his 1st form can easily 1 shot the strongest ozarus and 99% of them would go berserk so even with 1 billion frieza can fly away and death ball them anyway. Its confirmed that it takes being a minimum of 2-3 times stronger than someone to tank an attack and have no damage so they can't hurt frieza at all even in his first form with the max power level being 100k as an ozaru and friezahaving 530k. But Let’s be honest here though king vegeta was the strongest shown sayian in the series next to bardock before training, and Zenkai’s and backwards time travel super sayian, King vegeta was stated to be around 25k in Daizenshuu 7 he was the peak of elite society his max power level would of been around 250k in oozaru controlled, arguable all the elite in the population would be able to control this forms, bardocks had a power level of 12k before he was almost killed and if were fair with zenkai’s he probably be in the 20k range which is less than a 50% increase. When we compare gokus zenkai in the frezia saga which was 180x to fight third and final form. Honestly those two could probably could defeat frezia in there first from, if they worked together just his first form. He’d probably show them the second form and they’d lose all hope. Personally I’d give those two a little more credit. If we throw on the scenario presented though with character getting future vision and knowing of frezia betrayal, we could possible see king vegeta picking out the best of the best and just having them fight endlessly, throwing them in regen pods and abusing zenkai’s till frezia’s arrival, we could see atleast 1 100k sayian. I know blasts and charged attacks adds multiples a boost to damage output but as soon as frieza is hurt to any degree he goes 2nd form and its game over or again fly up and death ball them. You make a good argument about zenkai boosts and healing but I believe there was only 1 healing mod and it was on frieza's ship so no one would be able to use it without frieza's permission and even if they had their own healing pod secretly built, a zenkai boost gives what a 10%-20% boost tops it would take months if not many years worth of zenkais to get close to putting up a fight and lets say they got enough zenkais to hurt 1st form or even 2nd form they won't be able to 1 shot him so even 3rd form frieza and onward they have no chance what so ever.
