Facts. People got onto him for doing exactly what fans hate Gohan for not doing. He’s training and set a goal for humself, thus staying relevant. His goal doesn’t undermine any development or learning he’s already had.
The problem is not this, the problem is that super vegeta is nowhere near like his buu saga self, him still being goku's rival is stupid as literraly after his speech vegeta basically let his rivally with goku behind, dbs vegeta is basically cell saga vegeta but more good and powerfull, even the armor vegeta uses almost all the time is the same as the cell saga lmao

It makes sense, if a threat comes to earth, Goku’s just not there or isn’t strong enough and Vegeta is weaker than Goku, it means that this enemy has the power to destroy everything Vegeta ever knew, his wife, children and home are gone because he wasn’t strong enough or stronger than Goku when it mattered.
I mean I'd argue he's improved. Wish he'd get the win though. He catches up to Goku multiple times but because Goku is the main character he has more screen time especially in super. I hope maybe they'd make a spin-off for him.

He in the buu saga was starting to embrace goku's strength as greater than his own and i do agree he would still want to train but it just feels like hes in the cell saga again with his demeanor and the things he says. Especially after goku fought beerus. Comparing Gt vegeta to syper vegeta might not be too even but that seems like a better continuation of his character as hes becoming more human. The Granola and moro arc definitely felt more in that direction of end of z vegeta but it feels like we took some steps back to do so
It’s crazy how he isn’t obsessed at all 😂 he still wants to surpass Goku but that isn’t even his main goal, he even refused to train with Goku just to be there for his wife giving birth, he also said that his main goal was to surpass frieza not Goku in the broly movie. However he still wants to be stronger then goku but he puts other priorities over that.
@@amon-zero i mean, what else does he do? He gets beat up by Gohan and Goten, and he gets beat up by Super 17. Thats all he did in GT if we don’t include the shadow dragons arc. But in the Shadow dragons arc he becomes important again.
The Moro and Granola arcs even progressed his character, he’s easily the best character in super. He’s an actual good character, unlike Goku and Adult Gohan, he never went down hill. Vegeta diving in to save a namekian child before Goku was great development for Vegeta

He’s constantly told to continue training, then he says “i will” then we see him the next arc and he’s rusty and can’t use ultimate. Not to mention him just getting Beast even though he’s rusty and hasn’t been training. He’s inconsistent and not good. I can go on if you want. I forgot about Piccolo, he’s so irrelevant in Super that i forgot about him, but yea he’s with vegeta, he’s a good character

@@acidity5184 Goku in Super had his IQ cut in half. He’s no longer the same character, his character development was regressed, so now he’s learning the same lesson he did in Z. Super also made him over confident which has never been an issue. I like Super, but it has way too many flaws that just should not be a problem to begin with.
I would say is yes and no. Vegeta in Super has progressed in some ways like caring more about his family than he did in Z. But he's also regressed in some ways. His competition with Goku - though it may not be his only reason for training anymore - is still regression because he is still trying to surpass Goku. If Vegeta is really taking his speech in the Buu Saga to heart it shouldn't bother him at all if Goku is stronger than him.

GT Vegeta is yamacha lvl side character until the final arc. He doesn’t really do anything.
