Just stop. Vegeta doesn't care. He told beerus that the Saiyans had their chance to change but they didn't, and so they got what they deserved when Frieza blew up their home. That included his father, which Vegeta has stated he doesn't care for much anymore since his father was effectively a less evil than frieza but still bad

If Vegeta cared so much, he wouldn't have gleefully killed Nappa, reducing his people's number to only two at the time

King Vegeta didn't really want to send his son to Frieza, but he had no choice, since trying to defy Frieza would have resulted in the death of all Saiyans that were living on Planet Vegeta at that time, King Vegeta did try to retrieve his son later, but he failed, and was killed by Frieza, who then blew up Planet Vegeta, causing the eradication of all Saiyans save for Radditz, Nappa, Prince Vegeta, and Kakarot-Goku
That's not what happened in the original. That's only the english dub. Funimation just loved making up their own sht back then. In the original King Vegeta made it very clear he doesn't give a damn about his son, and what happens to him. What King Vegeta hated most is that Frieza was ordering him around, and his ego couldn't take it. This caused him to finally hatch a plan, and rebel against Frieza. They were going to go on his spaceship, overthrow him, and King Vegeta would become the ruler of the Universe.
And broly can forget him

And they kill there own race if they’re too weak or hurt like what happened to Napa when he was paralyzed by Goku and Vegeta straight up killed him. Funny how this man speaks about waiting for the right time to strike Frieza, when he in fact had Broly (The LEGENDARY super sayian) in the nursery; only to toss him aside like a bag of rotten food.
Broly was a liability. Couldn’t hide his enormous pl from the scouter and he would’ve been killed easily by first form frieza. Broly had a pl of 10,000 when planet vegeta was destroyed, first form frieza was 530,000. Final form frieza at 120,000,000. Even if baby broly could attain the ssj form his pl would’ve only been around 500,000. Enough of a monster to make frieza destroy planet vegeta and the sayians anyway. Not to mention the legend of the original ssj and how he destroyed the original sayian home world. It’s a terrible decision to have to make but as a king it was smart. Damage control.

@@SalMeditz this couldve been a great idea if not for brolys unpredictability.I think it can come down to how the legend of the super saiyan was perceived. Back in z when vegeta described the super sayian of legend it’s was as a super saiyan oozaru who’s power was supposedly so great that he destroyed himself. I would see logic with the kings reasoning as that kind of power doesn’t sound like it could possibly be controlled, and like we see with how Paragus tried in both iterations of broly, those devices cannot contain his power. A better idea would’ve been to have sent broly, prince vegeta , and a handful of handpicked sayians to be sent to remote planet to build a resistance against frieza imo

Another idea wouldv been that the Saiyans have a backup plan to evacuate to another planet that they've conquered that hasn't been sold to Frieza yet and let the legendary super Saiyan go berserk in hopes that he'd kill Frieza and himself.Or Maybe they should evacuate first after training the legendary super Saiyan first and let a few soldiers, paragus and broly remain on the planet.When Frieza arrives the soldiers will kill paragus Infront of broly or not Infront of him,and then get broly to go on a rampage and burst in power and hope he kills Frieza and yeah the saiyan soldiers r a suicide squad in this case cuz they'll get wiped out either by broly or frieza.This idea is terrible tho as Frieza will very well come to know abt the Saiyans evacuating so maybe they could somehow lure Frieza into another planet with the previous group I mentioned on it.

This is what countries in ancient and medieval times did. Marry their daughters off for diplomacy or take their kids as a political prisoner. In this case, Frieza took kid Vegeta to train him in the ways of the Frieza clan, alienate Kid Vegeta from his father, and to make sure the Saiyans don't resist since Kid Vegeta is a political prisoner.
I bet if King Vegeta had given the soldiers two more days then Frieza would have acted angry about that even though he now says that he wouldn't have minded. Frieza was just messing his mind
I can imagine if Bardock led a rebellion against King Vegeta after which would start a Saiyan Civil War and it would foreshadow the Rivalry between their Sons Goku/Kakarot and Vegeta.

king Vegeta have a power of 10,000 while bardock have a power of 11,000
fused togeder they would ver a power of 21,000 of power (lower than jeice)
and with oozaru they will get 210,000 (lower than Freezer) so yea: the only way the "evil" saiyans wins, Is if all the saiyans at the same time (not counting the babys,childs,grandfathers)

Freiza wasn't in charge for very long. The broly movie kind of confirmed the Saiyans were on good terms with Cold for the most part, and it seems that they only really had problems with Freiza. Freiza is probably a teenager in this scene

el mismo tipo que en un arranque de ira puede matarte, simplemente por qué si,
que muchas veces asesina sin motivo a sus aliados y lacayos,
el rey es bastante inteligente, al no marcarse un nappa y ir a lo idiota contra freezer,
y también tuvo una suerte inmensa de que en cualquiera de las reuniones o "visitas" con Freezer, a este no se le fundieran los cables y lo terminará asesinando,
El problema que mucho le achacan es que el rey no hizo un ataque conjunto con el bardock canon (el que dodoria casi lo mata)
pero esto se debe a 3 razones: 1: el rey Vegeta fue con un grupo de saiyajins de clase alta que problemente todos rondaría el 8,000 de poder,
y bardock al ser de clase baja no cuenta,
2: bardock para ese punto de la historia recién estaba intentando convencer a sus camaradas saiyajins de unirse a el para acabar con Freezer,
3:el rey hizo su asalto mucho antes de que bardock llegará para pelear con Freezer, y termino muriendo junto con sus élites, antes de que bardock se diera cuenta de la nave de Freezer,
es decir: sin duda alguna bardock y el rey en oozaru juntos tendrían en ataques combinados un poder de 210,000 pero caerían ante freezer
If King Vegeta and the other saiyans trained hard they may would have stood a chance in a sneak attack. Final form Frieza obliterates them though

He banished Broly away when he could’ve easily beaten Frieza.
His only move was attack Freeza directly and he died for that. He should train his soldiers first, eventualy they would learn that they get stronger every time they have a difficult fight. Then they might have a chance.
