I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2002. After years of toxic meds, I was losing my vision and ability to walk. My neurologist carefully alluded to "alternative" treatments. I am still mobile, have 20/20 vision with lenses, and have eliminated most meds. I use cannibis daily. This has also helped with diagnosed anxiety and PTSD. Cannabis is a god given herb for our use. It helps so many people with their pain. I’ve had cancer patients use it for pain and to help increase their appetite.I used it in my 20’s but haven’t in a long time. I didn’t realize that it helped with insomnia. I started Cannabis at age 13 and with the amount of abuse I took growing up in a extremely abusive household like so many others, I too have found healing attributes of Cannabis. At 65yrs old I find it to help me daily in this world. Alcohol will kill you and it's totally legal but Cannabis doesn't and is illegal. What's wrong with that picture, something to think about. 🤔
I adore this man. His voice is a joy to hear…singing and speaking. His intelligence. His ability to speak well. He is a complete package. And, he is correct. THC has helped my anxiety more than any other med or therapy. I know he would never consider running for office, but we need people like him in office.

I'm in severe joint pain I can barely walk & take opiods & copious amounts of ibuprofen daily and it all rarely touches my pain. My doctor thinks medical marijuana would give me great relief but the cost is a problem. I wish the cost was less prohibitive & the product more or easily accessible. You - stay healthy, there's so much more music in you!
I do think it should be legalized ... but, also there needs to be education that not everyone will be effected in the same way. I used to love it because I would laugh and laugh. As I got older, it started making me so sleepy, lazy and paranoid. So, I do recognize it can do wonderful things for many. But, people need to realize we are all built differently and something That works for one person doesn’t always work for another.
A bit late but I agree with you. I mean, medicinal controlled use is a thing but free recreational use is, imo, a different one, cause it might (not necessarily will) cause dependence and lead to other heavier drugs (and i m not making this up). The fact that it is a plant does not mean that it will always be harm free for everybody. I m neither 100% for or against it. I just think you have to be careful when and if you use it (like with many other things).

Personally I like the energy I get from 1 strain, but also I'm a believer in CBD vaping, and topicals they do work for pain. Edibles no can do, recks my stomach, bad pain, but vaping 4 puffs and that's it for me... dont do it often, still have 3 cartridges in my dresser haven't touched in a year. I think well I know because I lost my youngest daughter to suicide last year, 32, married, but had mental illness we were unaware of. She had a Masters in nutrition, and was trying to heal her anxiety and anger organically, and finally wrote tto her husband, she was sick and so tired of trying to fight. No she didnt give up, she courageously faced death and was fearless. I just pray she was praying for God to take her peacefully. I miss my baby girl, and maybe that's why I dont vape anymore, afraid it will numb my grief which I have to move forward to eventually heal. I have 3 older kids, and that is what keeps me sane.

Hi, David! My best friend had breast cancer and other health problems. She now uses cannabis though it's not even legal in her state (yet). It has helped her to reduce the amount of the opiod medication she takes daily. I can't use it at all in any form because I'd jeopardize my FAA license, because not even legal medical cannabis is acceptable to the Feds.
@@daramorikawa5651 Same here: fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, Peripheral Neuropathy, Sjogren's syndrome, Rraynaud's phenomenon, Hashimotos disease and narcolepsy with cataplexy, etc., and my pain management doctor also regularly drug tests, so I can't even take CBD oil, because cannabinoids without THC still show up in my drug tests. It sucks too, because even though I've been on the same 25 microgram dose every 72 hours of fentanyl (patches) for 12 years, I still get treated like a drug addict by other physicians!

I live in a small town in Michigan where cannabis is legal. We have 5 cannabis stores all within 6/10ths of a Ile all on the same side of the street. I think it is being accepted as the norm. All over Michigan are big cannabis farms. Good soil here.

I'm definitely an advocate for utilizing plants medicinally over pharmaceuticals. However, I'm not in favor of smoking on any level. People are entitled to choose for themselves but I don't think that it's fair to those who don't smoke for another's choice to be inflicted upon them second hand. Also it is not logical to consume something for the purpose of being a medical benefit in a manner that does physical harm. If the plant is helpful, by all means take it whenever and however you need it. From that standpoint I support legalization. Unfortunately, with legalization will come open recreational usage which is nearly always via smoking.
The studies on the subject have NOT found that smoking cannabis increases your chances for developing cancer. In fact, they found that people who smoke cannabis regularly had lower rates of at least a few different varieties of cancers. Not all smokes are equal. Some forms of smoke are relatively harmless while others could prove immediately lethal depending on what is being burned. It's not a one size fits all description. Cannabis smoke has not been demonstrated to act as a carcinogen, so unless you can demonstrate some form of harm done your argument about their choice being "inflicted upon you" isn't any more impactful than me saying that your choice of perfume is "inflicted upon" me. There's also the fact that your perfume doesn't do shit for my back spasms or PTSD.
Glad it works for you. I can't stand the stuff. Until recently I hadn't touched the stuff since I was 19. At 55 I've been diagnosed with psoratic arthritis and went from able bodied to damn near crippled in 6 months. I was convinced to try cannabis again for the pain. It did nothing for the pain and I still don't like the psychological effects. (Before anyone asks, I don't drink, either.) I have no issue with anyone using it if it works for them and I don't really care if it's legalized. I wish it HAD worked for me. The only one thing I'd like to see is a means of testing drivers for it. I spent 30 years as a professional driver. Trust me, people drive bad enough sober.
My husband has psoriatic arthritis. Badly. Ordered CBD pills online and it has virtually eliminated his inflammation and pain. CBD doesn't give you a high (that's THC) and I'm so glad he's able to enjoy life more than before.
Weed just makes me feel sleepy. I also do a lot of writing, but I’m fortunate enough to be like a golden retriever with just a smile and a blissfully empty mind. To write, I just need quiet. Easier said then done when you’re married. Get most of my writing done between 4 and 6am. But hey, I’m fully supportive of this lovely plant.

I understand. My pain drs piss test me every month for THC, even though they know I have Fibro and Lupus, and have had over thirty major surgeries.

Same here: fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, Peripheral Neuropathy, Sjogren's syndrome, Rraynaud's phenomenon, Hashimotos disease and narcolepsy with cataplexy, etc., and my pain management doctor also regularly drug tests, so I can't even take CBD oil, because cannabinoids without THC still show up in my drug tests. It sucks too, because even though I've been on the same 25 microgram dose every 72 hours of fentanyl (patches) for 12 years, I still get treated like a drug addict by other physicians!

I live in a small town in Michigan where cannabis is legal. We have 5 cannabis stores all within 6/10ths of a Ile all on the same side of the street. I think it is being accepted as the norm. All over Michigan are big cannabis farms. Good soil here.

I'm definitely an advocate for utilizing plants medicinally over pharmaceuticals. However, I'm not in favor of smoking on any level. People are entitled to choose for themselves but I don't think that it's fair to those who don't smoke for another's choice to be inflicted upon them second hand. Also it is not logical to consume something for the purpose of being a medical benefit in a manner that does physical harm. If the plant is helpful, by all means take it whenever and however you need it. From that standpoint I support legalization. Unfortunately, with legalization will come open recreational usage which is nearly always via smoking.
The studies on the subject have NOT found that smoking cannabis increases your chances for developing cancer. In fact, they found that people who smoke cannabis regularly had lower rates of at least a few different varieties of cancers. Not all smokes are equal. Some forms of smoke are relatively harmless while others could prove immediately lethal depending on what is being burned. It's not a one size fits all description. Cannabis smoke has not been demonstrated to act as a carcinogen, so unless you can demonstrate some form of harm done your argument about their choice being "inflicted upon you" isn't any more impactful than me saying that your choice of perfume is "inflicted upon" me. There's also the fact that your perfume doesn't do shit for my back spasms or PTSD.

Glad it works for you. I can't stand the stuff. Until recently I hadn't touched the stuff since I was 19. At 55 I've been diagnosed with psoratic arthritis and went from able bodied to damn near crippled in 6 months. I was convinced to try cannabis again for the pain.
It did nothing for the pain and I still don't like the psychological effects. (Before anyone asks, I don't drink, either.)
I have no issue with anyone using it if it works for them and I don't really care if it's legalized. I wish it HAD worked for me. The only one thing I'd like to see is a means of testing drivers for it. I spent 30 years as a professional driver. Trust me, people drive bad enough sober.

My husband has psoriatic arthritis. Badly. Ordered CBD pills online and it has virtually eliminated his inflammation and pain. CBD doesn't give you a high (that's THC) and I'm so glad he's able to enjoy life more than before.

Weed just makes me feel sleepy. I also do a lot of writing, but I’m fortunate enough to be like a golden retriever with just a smile and a blissfully empty mind. To write, I just need quiet. Easier said then done when you’re married. Get most of my writing done between 4 and 6am.
But hey, I’m fully supportive of this lovely plant.
