It depends what stage of labour. It's not uncommon for women - especially in first pregnancies - to chug along for hours in the early part before they get into so-called "active" labour rather than "latent" labour - which is usually around 3-4cm dilated (out of 10). In some cases yes, those early stages can go on for a couple of days but if her waters had broken, and she was in active labour for nearly 24 hours, that's a whole different thing. When he was talking about the Prayer video I got so mad. Censorship has gotten out of control, seriously. Kids don't need that kind of so called "protection", not with drug dealers in middle schools and kids being able to watch porn on school computers. I mean come on, that video is beautiful. I tried keeping my kids innocent and its just not possible with out locking them away in a hole in the ground. And the things they think need censoring are just ridiculous, but then again I could go on for ever about what's wrong with the world. Great interview, great band, great man, keep this series alive.
@Jason McDonald You can't honestly blame over-sensitivity on liberals, in this very interview David was talking about how his very traditional family did not support his career because they were sensitive to the rock and roll shit and how his traditional high school wouldn't let people look at a newspaper because it might have an underwear advertisement. The word "conservative" itself basically means "rejection of newer attitudes" including the resistance of changes toward freedom of communication and lifestyle. That being said, the liberals you are talking about also have their own brand of sensitivities which they also need to get over. Both sides are fucking stupid and need to grow up. The only sane people are the moderates and the people who lean gently to one side or the other without feeling the need to say every problem in the world is due to the crusty old conservatives or the snowflake liberals. And you statement about "you never heard about TV stations doing this before" is just flat out ignorant. Remember when TV stations would only film Elvis from the waist up because his hip thrusting was too offensive? It's old fucking news, things sway this way, things sway that way, but everything really stays the same.
So one time, my ex/best friend got to meet David VERY briefly. It was either right before or just after a concert and she had written a poem that she wanted him to read. She managed to run into him as he was heading back to the tour bus and told him basically, "Hi! I love your music and I really respect you as an artist. I just wanted you to read this." After that, she saw him walk back to his bus, lean against the wall, read it for a couple minutes and then folded it up and then slid it into his pocket. So cool. XD

They sound just as good/even better live then on album, mostly due to the fact that this man is a truly gifted singer who needs no post production to sound AMAZING
The Chicago Zoo part gets me every time
Right? 'I'm my own animal, thank you very much' XD
3:21 David killed me. God that was hilarious
How do you dislike this video, one hell of a singer and very well spoken.
I don't know why but He would make a great doctor. Dr. Draiman.... Awesome :). And i really love how he tells the truth about everything
I was just thinking the same thing. Why is this man not in the movies?!
I wish EVERY dad was as informed & vocal advocate for their wives. Great interview!
2:22 THAT SNORT. SO DAMN CUTE.
What a chill dude
"I'm my own animal" words to live by.
I love it
A breath of fresh air. A wonderful voice.
These videos were more like an interview. What a great guy, I enjoyed listening to his stories. He's been through some shit. Inspirational.
Gotta give this bloke a lot of respect, straight laced and seems genuine as hell. 👍
Love this man .. Talent and honest humility.
weirdly enough david's very calm voice is quite satisfying to listen to
there should be a fact or fiction with Ivan Moody from five finger death punch
+Stephen Stout yeah that would be good. "It says here you beat your wife and your sister got a restraining order against you. Care to elaborate on that?"
Damn straight
+JD1710a He was never married. That's been proven. And it has not been confirmed or denied about the restraining order.
agreed!
yes man, yes
Here lies David Draiman....oh wah ah ah ah
I died laughing
So who wrote the comment?
Hey You haha
RIP
Those piercings coming out of his soul patch make it look like he has a little walrus on his face.
A voice that will forever send a chill to my soul! Thank you!
Just want to say, Its really cool to get to hear some of the life of my favorite band lead vocal. Any of the machine, disturbed, is awesome to hear about, just my opinion. Thanks for the video
I think everybody talking about his voice and how well he speaks for himself helps cast aside the notion that metal performers are immoral or bad people.
It's just a music genre. The people in the metal community are actually fantastic people. Sometimes the biggest freaks are the realest people.
usualy the people with the beards and the ful sleve tatoos are the nices people you wil ever meet
"i'm my own animal, thank you very much."
mood.
David Draiman is as intelligent, knowledgeable and well-spoken as he is talented.
Kudos to the interviewer as well. Very nice, pleasant and not trying to steal or interfere with the focus of the interview.
He seems like a SUPER chill dude
This interview makes me so happy. I love the band but know very little about the members individually. David seems to be a really good man. God for him, his family and fans that can be proud of him. God bless him.
RESPECT ... Your Voice creates tinges in my spine ... keep rocking forever XXXXX
i totally enjoyed ths interview it gave insights on the band's vocalist. eloquent too: "I'm my own animal..." heheh
