    Need to fold my pinch weld better, I’m also running 35 12.50’s and I still need in a little bit in the rear under full compression. Really like the videos you posted about fitting 35’s🙌

    Great video, as usual! The gx looks so good on 35s

    What rear bumpstops do you have? The extended durobumps for 35s should make it to where you don't need to trim the upper portion of your fender. Rig is looking great man!

    I'm following this closely. I wasn't planning on getting 35" for my GX470 and just keeping 33" but your videos makes me want to go to 35".
    Have you ever done a off-road meet-up?

      Nice! I may do a video on all the things needed to prep for 35s in hindsight. We’ll see.
      I’ve done some local meetups like the GXOR SoCal meet at Huntington Beach (hometown) and the Rodeo x Rigs one in garden grove not too long ago but I’ve yet to do a trail meetup

    GXs and 4Runners are cool and all, but now I really want a beater sidekick

    Suzukis are so under-rated! Whats your plans to weather proof the plastics where you cut them?

    • @lexus_offroad_adventures
      @lexus_offroad_adventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Zuke killed it! Was thinking about getting some black paint and brushing it on. Someone else suggested seam sealer... we'll see.

    • @RichardBauer_
      @RichardBauer_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lexus_offroad_adventures yea that was me on your PT1 video :P but seam sealer wont fill the gaps where you cut out the plastic. Maybe I am just overthinking it and just need to have a look at my plastics for future planning.

      @lexus_offroad_adventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RichardBauer_ oh for THOSE gaps, I was thinking about getting some pvc strips and seeing how it looked to attach them to the inner plastic fender to fill that gap… or I’ll just leave it haha probably fine, not too worried about it

      @@lexus_offroad_adventures Maybe, you can get some fender liner material to cover the gaps? 🤔

    Hey did you ever sell your old headlights? I’m looking for some and can’t find any 😣

    Narrow tires are better for most off-roading, including sand.

    I’m not doing 35” until I can upgrade the rear to an 8.2. That stock ring and pinion is just to small.

    • @lexus_offroad_adventures
      @lexus_offroad_adventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      8.2s are a great option. I’m gonna be doing gears soon. People break the 8.0 because the carrier bearing can get out of spec over time and the excess backlash causes carnage. Getting new gears installed or a CBPL Refresh can increase strength up to 50% according to some. That plus solid pinion spacer should give some extra strength. www.gearinstalls.com/freshen.htm?fbclid=IwAR0vlc9dCnbYGA-kzrcZWSjjOUIsdVIKzdoPjiN7FmQhEaVHzlWtI60XqzQ&fs=e&s=cl

      @@lexus_offroad_adventures yup, it’s a fix but the piñon is still almost half the size of the 8.2. I’m in Colorado so having a major failure like that on a 11,000ft shelf road isn’t on the top of my to-do lists, lol.

    Take the spacers off and you won’t rub.

    • @lexus_offroad_adventures
      @lexus_offroad_adventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I won’t rub regardless with the new fender treatment 🤙
      I like the stability that the spacers give when you get off-camber

    35 ARE Simply too big. But it does look good.

    • @lexus_offroad_adventures
      @lexus_offroad_adventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      No they’re perfect 😭 definitely not way too much work to make fit and totally doesn’t still rub after extensive cutting 😣
