If you've never replaced the rack and pinion, you're going to sooner than later, there's better ways to go about clearing for 35s that entails a lot lot more work, If you do all this work and it's still rubs in the end, is it really clearing 35s? Definitely have a 3-in lift in the front and worn out springs in the rear. Also, the transmissions really don't like 35-in tires until you regear typically tell people to plan on including the cost of regearing with the cost of 35s. It definitely does make off-roading a little smoother rolling over obstacles. After your first off-road trip, you'll definitely figure out where else you need to trim. Awesome video edit! Great job with transitions and intro and really glad to see somebody trimming the bumper with a real grinder and cutting wheel and not a dremel.
Yeah I figured that would probably wear out first. I'm prepared to swap it out. Ultimately, I'm clearing 35's for street and light trail driving. I'm not doing any hardcore offroading with this GX and if I ever decide to then I'll make sure that it's fully cleared while bumped/articulated. Thank you though man! I appreciate the feedback!
Glad to see a strong dude like yourself lifting tires like that. I always felt like a sissy mounting my wheels that way. ( I am a woman anyway, but it was the only way I could do it.)

Its going to just walk up ledges now. When I put the 35s on my 80 series wheeling the local stuff became pretty easy.
Ohh I’m sure! I’m excited to see how it handles the whoops compared to the 32’s

I worked at a tire shop briefly as a teenager so I got to practice good technique! 🤘🏽
