I think the X5 facelift looks a lot better than the X7 facelift. These look great! I think BMW was trying make the x5 and x7models look different. I still think long time owners will miss hard button for favorites and climate control.
I was sorry I wasn’t able to order the 2024 X5 50e because the way I wanted it equipped the sticker price was well over $80,000 making it not eligible for the $7,500 tax credit in the US.I did order a 2023 X5 45e which is currently in production hopefully I’ll receive it in late March. With the increase in prices and the tax credit loss a similar 2024 would of cost around $ 12,800 more than a 2023
Except for the increased power and slightly more EV range, you would be happy with the 45e, like to like an increase of nearly 13K and losing the federal tax credit does not make sense! That’s a lot of money to save.

I have to say the 2024 model is making me reconsider that buying option. I do not care for the matte black/gloss black grill/nose combination at all. It looks like the beautiful vehicle is wearing clip-on sunglasses or a fake moustache. In my opinion, it distracts from the flow of the fascia and quite honestly looks cheezie. I was just at my local BMW dealer last week and there was a new 2023 X5 M-Sport in carbon black metallic with tartufo leather interior in the showroom. It was gorgeous! I'm considering opting for the 2023 X5 over the 2024 even though I prefer to custom order my vehicles, but I really don't like the new design of the front.
Hope the cargo space was increased. Not a fan of the massive rectilinear screen. Wish they’d have integrated it more into the dash. Is the straight 6 w/hybrid returning and how much horse power? Otherwise looks like a nice X5.

I wish the plug in hybrid was available in the colour shown here. Very disappointing to find the blue colour in only available on the XLine in the U.K.

they did a good job with the face lift. not really anything different in the back just different tail lights. front is nice, not a whole huge change from the 2023. my 2019 x5 lease just ended and I decided to order a 2023 X7. it came in and I was like ehhhh so i leased a 2023 x5 m sport instead just for the fact that I hate not having separate ac controls and no more shift knob, just a stubby nub. not a fan of that and fingerprinting up a screen to change the temp. that would drive my OCD mad lol. otherwise great looking car and great review. Always love the X5
Are they do the 3 row in any X5's anymore? I'm in the US and I don't think they even offer the 3rd row anymore for any X5 model. They should bring back the 3rd row and fog lights!
BMW you get more power performance for your money. To upgrade the engine in the Cayenne on the new models is like 140K. At least when I checked. Crazy.
The X5 LED strip in the passenger dash that is so cheesy and nonsense as a feeling of a grown man. Imagine the driver's wife/gf (if they are older=mature) must look at the show off sign everyday for no reason. It should be on only M Sport package. I liked very much the previous hidden LED lines that was more sophisticated and humble. Very disappointed this new X5 did not offer a video camera display feature in the rear view mirror. A driver who pays $80000 luxury still could not see his behind for safety when carrying something large loads. This German brand is getting behind the technological innovation from the Asians counterparts. I enjoy your video everytime anyway, Thanks.
Till today the F-15 X5 is the most sold and successful X5 in almost all aspects of a good car including; engine, interior, exterior, and technology (considering its period of release 2014 -2018). The 2019 model however was shockingly downgraded when it comes to design as well as the limited space in the interior not to mention the new awkward speedometer!! The sales men and technicians of BMW also prefere the F-15 over the older and newer generations for many other reasons. This 2024 model made it easy for me that the X5 is no longer an option in my future wish list. The climate control integrated to the screen is just a joke. I prefer the classical buttons where its handy and easy to use. BTW, I'm 2016 X5 M cut owner, plus a BMW fan.
I am getting one before the year ends. I hate what they are doing with the DRL (angel/corona lights). You can't distinguish from BMW halos of the past which is a hallmark feature like the kidneys + hoff. Infuriating tbh.
Facelift so so. I guess I'll be sticking with my 2020 X5 for awhile. I see the 2024 x5 no longer have the shift handle ... NO NO NO BMW! This is such a turn off. Where am I going to place my right hand while driving primarily with my left hand? TBH, I truly believe BMW failed on the redesign, at least for me to trade in for a new x5. X6 redesign is even worse than I expected. It no longer showing it's frontal prowess, rather it look like a tamed x6. SMH
The body style on BMW X5 and X7 to me is a cross between Mercedes GL50 and Audi. There is nothing special or unique. The Audi Q7 Presdige is not in your face and does most of what the BMW does for less money

These cars are so ridiculous in price. I test drive a BMW X7 and got a quote to lease. Off the charts stupid and to get LEATHER SEATS on this over priced car I had to upgrade to a things I did not need. The other thing on x5 is the middle seats are not electric! WTH? Get an AUDI.
